We reached a steamy 26C (felt like 27C) here before a storm front hit in the late afternoon, but it's now down to 17C (feels like 18C) as I'm about to call it a night.

Cheers.

Sunshine and floods and...

A total crash of coordination: I'm double booked.

Worse still: It was me that in inadvertent incompetence agreed to the double booking...

A big oops and a bit of a mess to untangle.

A time organiser system needed?...

Winning on a gloomy Sunday morning where it's a muggy 17C, but I am surprised that there's no fog about this morning after yesterday's rain.

Anyhow it's time for a coffee.

Cheers.

The RN has been here and has fallen under the spell of my 3 cats, who liked the visit.

174/61 blood pressure, it was this much since I had to walk to the door to unlock the door.

I was able to pick up Chitty with one arm, he weighs 18lbs which is about the same as a
bag of cat food, and lift and hold Sylvester with no bites or scratches, Sylvester is almost
totally socialized, yes cats are socialists.

Well yesterday's 17.75mm has the place all soggy again and those butternuts of mine have put on a huge growth spurt (Big Bertha's title is in trouble now) as I'm just starting to see signs of die off finally occurring. Next year I'll try planting 1 lot a month ahead of the other next time. I've also got plenty of seedlings popping up for my autumn crop, but I will soon have to think about frost protection and to start moving some of my small wicking tubs over to their winter positions during the next month.

We've still got the chance each day of afternoon showers and storms along with another heatwave until the end of this month with a soggy start to next month on the cards as well so I'm expecting things to carry on growing wildly for a while yet.

Anyhow I better get a bit more done before Sunday LLB time arrives. ;-)

Cheers.

70f and sunny. I have been working on my sailboat most of the day. No wind so it's been the perfect time to do repairs and clean the rigging.

After a white frosty morning it warmed up a bit and we had a dull cool/cold day. The sun has now gone to bed here, and the temperature has dropped again, so it's not going to be a warm night. Now what's the weather going to be like tomorrow?

Well that's my veggies taken care of after a foggy 16C start, but that fog burnt off about 40mins ago so we're now at a steamy 21C (feels like 24C) as the mercury heads towards an expected 29C and as a result I've closed up my unit to see how long I can keep that heat out for.

I was toying with the idea of getting a bit of mowing in this morning, but the yard is still far too soggy for that yet.

Anyhow I might as well watch these guys putting up a steel frame house behind me while enjoying this 19C (feels like 16C) environment while it lasts.

Cheers.

Sunny and busy...

We moved some equipment and with the parlous state of the roads, we found "things don't work" at the far end... That took a day to trace some connections that had shaken loose...

Hey ho! All working now but now the remaining time is too short...

(And there is not enough thought for time to think...)

All good fun?

Whoooosh!...

Long day of physcial work yestuday. I went to sleep sore and still feeling it. At my desk most of the day today so I should recover. The sailboat is looking much better. But spring is here. Beautiful day yesterday and today is expected to be the same. Mid 60's and mostly sunny. No rain in the forecast until Thursday.

My Doctors office had me call a number where my weigh scale is at, it's supposed to be coming to me via the USPS, they asked my weight which is 467lbs so they'd ship the correct scale to me.

Today or on Tuesday before 3pm I have to return a full sample jar to Labcorp, I should also check my mail before 4:30pm too.

Now the Doctor wants me to stop taking Trulicity, I've got 1 shot left too.

Well after almost 2hrs of mowing and 6 heavy catcher loads later most of my backyard jungle is back under limited control and as the clouds start to gather again it's now at a steamy 23C here while I've had enough for the day.

It's must be beer o'clock by now.

Cheers.
