We've made it to a very muggy 26C (feels like 24C) here, but I did get 2 reconstructed and improved small wicking tubs done today to add to the rest of them. At least I'll have a few days to consider what seeds I'll plant in those as the increasingly gets darker.

Cheers.

Ah, Takata airbag. Something like 100% of airbags should have been recalled by now.

Dinner was nice, end cut prime rib and live Jazz.

Time to see if I can get a spinal reset in before the World Cup final starts (plus I'm buggered anyway).

Cheers.

Cool wet Sunday morning. 47 with light rain. The snow level is about 6,000 feet. That's about 5,993 feet above me. Visiting my daughter who lives at an elevation just shy of 2,000. Got my 4x4 truck cleaned up. Only used it twice since last winter. Looking forward to the release of the Cybertruck. That should be fun.

Now that all the ICC World Cup presentations have been completed I'm going to try and get another nap in before the sun rises on another busy day.

Cheers.

Sounds tasty good.

And over here, time flies far too fast and various bits to get ahead with ready for hitting Monday at a run!

(Beers debrief comes later...)

Enjoy?

It's a damp start here this morning in the highlands as I enjoy a coffee before getting into the brewroom for most of the rest of the day.

Cheers.

My 2015 Chevy Spark (B)EV should be here in December, 431 miles from here.

The payment went up some to about $262 a month, But the down payment went down some.
A truck will deliver it here. It'll cost from $2.51(120v, AC) to about $9.80(DC) to fill the battery pack to 80%.
I have to use 120v instead of 240v, cause 240v doesn't work here in this mobile home park.

It's been quite a damp day here today where we kicked off at 15C (felt like 14C), then it dropped down to 14C (felt like 12C) and now it's back at 15C (feels like 14C) so I doubt very much that we'll make it to 17C today.

Cheers.

Enjoying a beautiful calm misty grey day. Chilly damp but non-too-cold.

And very much enjoying an undisturbed day to get ahead for the rest of the week.

Until... That is... The phone rings or some other 'unexpectedness' requires an immediate fix...

(No sign of the feral dog or wandering cat for a little while now. They must have found somewhere else warmer with better snacks...)

But first... A good brew and to grab a late lunch!

Enjoy!

Speaking of warm or not as the case might be, the temp here got down to 38F, currently it's 58, with a predicted high of 63...

A few days back this area had 0.03" of something called RAIN...

Now I just have to find a way to get a 5-20 120v 20A extension cable out the front door to the actual charger cable, it was so far less expensive than getting a permit which used to be easy to get and hiring an electrician who thinks an EV can't be charged up at home, I have a 20 Amp circuit that says otherwise and that I recently used for my PC, I moved the PC to a 15 Amp kitchen circuit.

I need a flat thin cable, one that is FLAT so the door won't cut into the cable and so the front door to my home will close. An appliance cable might be ok as 14 gauge cables can deliver 15 Amps and are flat too.

I decided on this charger cable below as it has a 14-50 electrical plug and a 5-20 to 14-50 adapter I can supply the charger with 20 Amps of power thru a 5-20 cable like below, all actually 16 Amps as the cable to deliver 16 Amps has to be on a 20 Amp circuit. This charger cable can operate on 120v and 240v, though 240v currently doesn't exist in this mobile home park cause of the ancient buried electrical lines here.

Muetux EV charger cable.

A Nema 20 Amp 125v 5-20 extension cable, the one I ordered is 50' long, it was that or buy 100', to get 75' I'd need to order a 25' cable.

Winning on a very dull, but so far dry, Tuesday morning down under while enjoying a coffee in preparation for another road trip.

We got off to a 14C start here with 22C being expected along with more showers and thunderstorms.

Cheers.

Take good care when first trying that to check that nothing gets warm... Especially all the connections!

Stay cool!!

Yep, I couldn't agree more, yeah I need a flat 12 gauge 3' extension cable to fit under my front door, I have a 14 gauge on the way that will handle 15 Amps @ 125v ac. The shortest I can find is a 12/3 appliance cord, it's not as flat as I'd like, but it is 9' long and only about $27 at Lowe's and it's a 5-20 cable on both ends.

Nope Lowe's has a 6-20 cable, not a 5-20 cable.

I may need to buy the correct 5-20 end bits and a 6-20 12 gauge cable and make my own, easy peasy...

A 5-20 thin electrical cord will be built of 12-2 yellow Romex cable(interior, 15' for about $19), about $40 worth of wire and clamshell plugs($11ea almost), foldable? Yes.
Ideal? No way Jose.

Now that I'm home again after my road trip, as well as a few driver revivers up at the pub, we've reached 24C (feels like 22C) here and I'm about ready for a spinal reset.

Cheers.
