Work - that's a four letter word and a concept either alien or a bad dream to retired people Even at home, chores can be work, almost everything except laying down is very painful to do here. 4 letters can = 6 letters. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Road trip Tuesday got cancelled just 10mins before I left home as some fellows turned up to replace the blown inverter on my solar system on a day that they were told not to turn up on. :-( So it looks like it'll be a road trip Hump Day tomorrow morning now. Anyhow I guess that I'll go out and start getting my potato stacks going. Cheers. |

Always trade offs. There certainly are as I found out today that I had to specially order pond liner in this region of the country (without driving for hours more) so I'm settling on using 0.6mm greenhouse poly inside 0.3mm builders plastic liner for my huge wicking tubs, the greenhouse poly for durability and water holding while the builders plastic is to keep the sunlight well away from the water storage area. So that means that I'll be having yet another long day tomorrow as I've decided to start a 3rd potato stack before starting on putting 1 wicking tub together (I may not have enough of my compost guru left to do the 2nd) and then there's new disc pads to go into the front of the ute that I've been borrowing (or chauffeuring the owner about in) of late, and I'll likely need it to get a large 250kg bulk bag of mushroom compost for the 2nd wicking pot. Anyhow, after doing around 500kms today (in car comfort with cruise control this time) running around shopping for stuff that 2 of us needed I'm ready to crash, but I probably should hae a bite to eat before doing that. Cheers. |

And we're back into the subdued grayness of mist and drizzle and damp. And despite that, we have preternaturally warm temperatures for this time of year... What on earth has given the jet stream such an unholy kinky kick?... See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Well I'm going to try and get a couple of more hours of shut eye in before the sun rises. Cheers. |

Two of my cats keep me up as they sleep with me at night, them desert me near 5am. I have Chitty trained to get up so I can go use the bathroom, I say bathroom a few times and he moves out of my way. Chitty to my right, Sylvester to my left, Grace? Grace is in the Kitchen in front of the microwave oven and next to the gas range(the range has electronic ignition). Winning at a better time of the morning as the sun shines brightly and a large bank of fog sits on the other side of the river. Anyhow it's time for a coffee. Cheers. |

Well... The waterproofs held up fine and mission accomplished. That was also a good excuse for beers later on. All good fun! (Even without the beauty of a starscape!) See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Posting after doing 2 loads of washing and kicking a 3rd potato stack off. Now I'm going to enjoy a couple of beers before I get started on 1 of those huge wicking tubs. Cheers. |
