My last mission for today has been successful and it's now time to re-energize for tomorrow. Cheers. |

Basking under a Mediterranean warm sun... Here high in Old Blighty! At this time of year!! And the semi-feral wolf-hound of the site is warily eyeing me up whilst sheltering here inside in the cool shade... So far I'm in favour for the time being having fed her a bucket of water. (She enforces a 'rather large' 'personal space'...) See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Winning on a Hump Day morning as the sun rises into a cloudless sky. Anyhow I better go and switch the kettle on. Cheers. |

Finally Thor has put in a light concert. He has been absent for a long time. |

We're expecting him to put on his classic Thorsday show here tomorrow Admiral as our storm season kicks off a couple of weeks early. I had to take a break from finishing off welding my last dividing wall frame up as it just got far too hot out in the sun in front of the shed, but that should be ok to resume after a couple of beers as the sunshine should have departed my work area by them. Cheers. |

We are getting our last few summer days here this week. Up to 33C in the forecast until sunday. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

We reached 22C (felt like 17C) here today and the framework for my 4 bay composting setup is now finished, though the weather will again put a halt to things over the next 2 days. Anyhow I'm not going to stay awake much longer this evening so I expect to be up again at some silly time. Cheers. |

Wow! It's gone all Mediterranean!! (And the feral hound is seeking shade elsewhere today. I escaped yesterday with merely two growls and one snarly bark... She's friendly really...) See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Hey good stuff! You can dream your way to a new youthfulness!! In all seriousness: Good sleep is very good for good health! Enjoy! Still a few bits to do over here as the sun goes down into an intense sunset. And still in Mediterranean steam heat in a very un-typical Blighty... Well I don't know if it was the spending 9hrs in 1 position or the quickly coming weather change, but some bugger has driven a railway spike into my left hip again. :-( I did manage to hobble over to the supermarket to get a few things to see me and Dog out for a few days and thankfully I wasn't planning on doing much of anything today as that rain was already suppose to be here according to the experts while snow is expected to fall again down south along the range over the next 2 days so that means we'll have icy winds at this end of the range when the full brunt of it hits here tomorrow. We got off to a clear 8C (felt like 6C) start here, but by 9am the clouds had turned up (about the time that spike felt like it went in), and currently it's 17C (feels like 15C) with 21C being expected today (along with rain, showers and thunderstorms). Anyhow I think that I might squeeze in a 4th coffee this morning before having some lunch at a reasonable time of the day for a change. Cheers. |

The overnight temperature was nice and cool. I have a window fan drawing it in. |

It is when the weather is good. I also use it draw air through my flat. I just open the window in my living room and exhaust it out from the bedroom. |

Winning on a breezy P.O.E.T.S. Day, but not much of that rain has yet been seen, as my coffee awaits. Cheers. |

Frazzled... Must remember to drink more water... Earlier in the day, even the feral hound had met her match... She'd found a nice cool spot under one of the vans under a tree. Totally unconcerned for the machinery screaming away nearby. Until... I walk by to check all is in order and... From a good 20 meters away, she glares at me with one eye. She then wearily drags herself out from under the van, slowly saunters over to about the halfway mark, gives a half-hearted grumpy bark and a gruff growl. Then she turns around with a shake and a quick scratch, and then saunters off back under the van to flop down and stare at me. Charming! I've been out enjoying some sunshine that isn't suppose to be here (where's all that rain?) as the temp gets up to 17C (feels like 13C) as the wind begins to arrive while 19C is expected. Anyhow I let Dog off early, got the veggies have been uncovered (I'll stick a few more seeds in later today) and I got the tape measure out to get the final dimensions of my composting bays (5.35m L x 1.36m W x 950mm H) so I may get to cut the corrugated steel panels to size tomorrow morning (I may even get a few screwed up) before attending a mate's birthday BBQ in the afternoon for which I also mixed up several litres of half strength fruit cup cordial to go with my rum. But I don't plan on doing much else today other than enjoying a good P.O.E.T.S. Day LLB up at the pub (after that 1 never knows what might happen). Cheers. |
