A big day has again screwed my normal sleep pattern, but I'm going to try and get it back on track. Cheers. |

Not a single meow I’ve heard from Mark. He’s gone silent the last several months or so. |

I got the spirit level out today and got down to planing and leveling out the ground where I removed 6.6 sq.m (5.5m x 1.2m) of turf and surprisingly I wasn't that far out by eye at all. It's now flat with very slight slopes S-N & E-W so that the compost bays will drain and I only got 3 buckets of dirt to sift the stones out of doing that. Then it was time for an extended Good Friday LLB. I'll be back to doing more metalwork over the weekend finishing off the framework before more rain is due on Monday which should soften the ground a bit more so I can dig the holes for the frame's posts and then form up for the concrete border around it all to keep the lawn out and to it anchored down. Cheers. |

More of the grey-blue deep overcast with a sprinkling of mist for that extra taste of cold damp... We're into Autumn. There's no denying it. See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

It's definitely dark here and as the temp drops I reckon that it's time to examine the inside of my eyelids. Cheers. |

Well I've got everything in place for today's work, but it isn't warming up that quickly out there this morning so I'm just defrosting a bit before I head back outside. We got off to a frosty 2C (felt like -0C) start here and we're now at 12C (feels like 10C) with 18C being expected. I'll sift that dirt from yesterday out 1st and then get into some deburring before cracking along with the welder. Cheers. |

Winning at the wrong time of night, or getting up when you should be going down, after another long day out in the yard. Cheers. |
