Winning on a frosty Hump Day while waiting for the next lot of rain to arrive.

Anyhow it's coffee time again.

Cheers.

After good hints and hope of everything drying out, instead we got a big Nope as the sun went down:

By 'eck it's taken a turn into a chilly damp Winter's evening!

This is far too early for winter woolies and fleeces!!

Well I got my veggies done as well as taking a few measurements and bringing some of the materials inside before it got to iffy outside then I drew up some rough plans with measurements to make the frames for the divider walls for my composting station.

Now I'm getting back to the fold down lounge at the end of my bed that's been on hold for while.

Cheers.

There was a red Worm in a woman's brain in Australia.

The light red worm pulled from the frontal lobe of the 64-year-old woman's brain last year turned out to be an Ophidascaris robertsi roundworm which is endemic in carpet python snakes, common across much of Australia.

Check your connection speed. A day and a half ago my connection speed was at the speed of timing out. Right now it is a lot better on my phone.

It's been like that at times for about a week now.

Anyhow we just had a small storm here that dumped a decent amount of pea hail just as the last of the daylight fades away.

Cheers.

It was very slow for a few days, but is OK now. Connection speed was good to very good as other BOINC-based forum were running at their normal speeds, but S@H was very slow, with the odd loss of connection.

It looks like Thor has given up for the night now, though he's booked in again for tomorrow, and as soon as I finish this current doco I'm calling it for the night.

Cheers.

I think the forum was slow yesterday. I should say the server that the forum is hosted on was slow. Back to speed today. I found it was taking a long time to respond to page requests.

For me it was as if my smartphone was being throttled. This and several other sites was extremely slow. It is all normal now.

Autumn is definitely here...

Enjoy a good cool brightness.

And here we have pause for thought over a big brew whilst reflecting upon how blindly following tick-boxes doesn't work if the tick boxes themselves become the focus of the workflow rather than merely acting as a checklist to aid completing the job properly... There simply are not enough tick boxes possible to ensure a proficient and thorough job is actually done. Ya cannae deny the reality of whether something works well enough, or not...

(OK... For once. not a plumber this time... Instead, somewhat more scary for an electrical screw-up...)

I'm just taking a quick beer break to cool down from doing a couple of hours or metalwork out in the sunshine.

Cheers.

We're well into Autumn. Undeniably.

Cool grey brightness in a cool still calm.

Winter is coming... Time to prepare!
