I just got another length of 25mm RHS passed over the fence so it's time to go outside to do some more metalwork as the temp here hit 15C (feels like 10C) and a gale starts to blow.

Cheers.

Lots of Sunshine here, no water vapor or ash clouds, to radar a cloud is a cloud.

Clear sky and yet, we have a dash of drizzle!

And it really is the good people that make things work.

Even better when we have good management to usefully coordinate!

(Sorry, "Boss"-types need not apply here...)

And to wrap up: The Decades-in-The-Game Farce Gang are not returning. We have better plans...

During a hectic day here the mercury reached 16C (felt like 12C) and it was a lot drier than the forecast had us to believe yet again.

Anyhow I'm ready to crash, but I hope that I sleep long as I've got some earthmoving to do tomorrow.

Cheers.

What? No sunshine?

Warm temperature but with a chilly damp grey as oncemore we disappear into the timeless mists...

... And the race into the week is on!

Winning on a cool Hump Day morning as a slight glow begins in the east.

Now I just have to get myself motivated to do a bit of landscaping as soon as it's warm enough outside. We've got off to a frosty 1C (feels like -2C) start here with 17C expected.

Cheers.

Hit 100f at home today. I don't like heat. Unless it's from a fire when its cold and wet outside.

Timing adjustment/repair, oil pan & valve cover gaskets, 4 pwr steering hoses, 2 motor mounts, drivers door mirror $500 or less?

I have new parts for everything except for the timing belt, I'm having a local place in September work on my car.
Current installed gaskets and hoses leak like a sieve, the mirror is missing as is 2 of the motor mounts, the timing is off and the car has spark and a new AGM sealed battery to replace a dead lead acid battery from 2018 that can't be charged anymore, some think all batteries can be charged I ran into one @ O'Reilly recently. A friend here bought a tester to test for spark.

Here where I live there is no public transportation, even the Nurse who comes here tells me that, 2.25 miles away is a bus line that stops in the area 4 times a day in the desert and each person on the bus is limited to 4 bags max, this used to be 6 bags. When the bus line went in dial a ride was removed. The bus line serves one part of the area on 1 street when it could go to other parts of the area that I live in.

I just finished leveling the ground out for my 1st large wicking tub and boy was the ground almost as hard as concrete, but hopefully the rain that's due over the next 2 days will soften the ground up a bit for doing the 2nd one.

Now that the temp here is at 14C (feels like 11C), but it felt much warmer than that digging away out there in that sun, and I'm only waiting on the clothes out on the line dry I might as well enjoy a couple of beers.

Cheers.

All is strangely calm and quiet. Very quiet with nary a rustle of a single tree leaf. We are completely becalmed.

... As we silently sail along our orbit through the star studded heavens...

Well I've just about finished my LLB and once it's done I'd better head up the side of my shed and cart some bricks out from there to sit the top half of the IBC on to bring it up level with the bottom half.

Then I reckon that I'll need a spinal reset.

[edit] I pulled out enough old bricks to do that job so that's enough for me for today.

Cheers.
