Well, the dark Portent came to nought and we even have the bright spectacle of a few stars...

There's a very large bright moon somewhere also...

Hence, out into the beyond to venture forth for froth and merriment!

It’s 20°C with a slight breeze. A damp cold after the rain. And it feels wonderful.

We have some calm bright sunshine amongst the dampness.

A calm between the storms?...

And time flies far too fast!!

Well between early mornings trying to get use to Lubuntu and the later parts of it, plus some of the early afternoons, still getting downstairs cleared up (while planning out my next moves to make another mess or 3 yet again) it's time for a quick LLB while planning on my next action down there before the old spine calls it quits for another day.

Cheers.

Well I got some car parts in today, needless to say a pcv valve is going back since it rattles and might be broken,
and the other box is supposed to be a Crankshaft Position Sensor(STD PC95) and not a keylock and 2 keys,
without the sensor the car has no spark, no spark means no engine starting, I ordered again after getting a $10 discount code,
the replacement sensor might be here on Wednesday or Thursday.
Since I have the invoice number I'll get a refund in store, when the car works, which hopefully will be this weekend.

You're not the only one with sticky valves...

The icecube moon mission is lost oh for a frozen valve...

Starliner is lost in woe for the sake of corroded valves and a multitude of other sloppy silliness...

And I'm left wondering if some pipework has a proper pressure release valve properly in place, or a dumb vent, or if it has simply dumbly been capped. No idea, so some panelling is going to be removed to see and test what really is there.

... Hope not a dangerously dumb vent to spark stern words and a teardown...

Hey ho?!

Winning after my road trip and having a few driver revivers at the pub.

Now it's time for lunch and then a spinal reset.

Cheers.

I'm waiting for UPS to bring me a 2nd crankshaft position sensor, the 1st was a box with 2 keys and a keylock, someone screwed O'Reilly and O'Reilly didn't check, without this sensor the car has no spark and won't run. But I have the invoice number so I can get a refund for the 1st and a refund on the core charge for the battery, at least the car has electricity now.

Next month I'm hoping to install 3-4 power steering hoses, 2 motor mounts, a rubber felpro oil pan gasket, and maybe a rubber felpro valve cover gasket. Except for the valve cover gasket, all these need the block lifted off of the motor mounts. If I get this done, I'll either reduce the leaks or stop the leaks.

After that a drivers side mirror and an adjustable steering column and change the key for the 3 doors and make 2 new keys from a straightened key. Eventually the a/c too. Someone parked my car under a pine tree, a car wash should fix that.
