After doing more cleaning up downstairs during the day, resurrecting another laptop and downloading the latest iso of Kubuntu tonight so as the clock ticks past midnight I'm past ready for bed. I'll put the OS on the laptop later on today. Cheers. |

Earth at that distance is a mere period on the page, as seen by Voyager 1 or 2. Walt Disney was right, we're a Small, Small, World.. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Wish it was cooler here. Feels like going outside and your brain gets boiled to a far-thee-well. |

It got off to a frosty 1C (felt like -2C) start here this morning and now that I've done enough for a Sunday we're up to 15C (feels like 12C) while 17C is expected along with some possible showers later in the day. Anyhow I might change out of my work clothes into clothes more suitable for a Sunday afternoon at the pub. Cheers. |

There's nothing like a 115F day, 116 & 117 have been predicted, July has never been this hot or yes sizzling, this would be June weather... It's 103 outside as I type this. My emergency 5 gallon bottle needs to be thrown out, as it now leaks, I put 3.00 gallons in and recovered 2.75 gallons, a 4th gallon is unopened in the fridge, I'll have to somehow stuff all 4 in there... Just when I figured out how to refill it, the bottle becomes trash. But I got all the water in my fridge. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I got a few gallons of water in emergency reserve. Except mine are in a 0.5 liter format. |

We made it to 16C (felt like 13C) here today, but now that the big light in the sky is gone it's back to 10C (feels like 8C). Cheers. |

We don`t get much more than 18C here today. Not very summer like and lots of the wet stuff as well. With each crime and every kindness we birth our future. |

Yet more tumultuous clouds... With added Portent?... And for a rushed giggle... I recently fumble fingered a 5 litre container due to not looking which side I should have grabbed it by... It landed on concrete with a resounding splat that had everyone looking my way... As it tumbled through the air, I really was expecting the worse and was primed to leap out of the way... And... The plastic deformed but spring back, and the cap held firm. Phew!!! ... That one could have been messy... Must make note: Less rush, use eyes, confirm grip before lifting! Just enjoying a sip or two (well, maybe a few more than two..) of Limoncello. It's adding a brightness to the end of a rather dull day, saying that, the sun has broken through the clouds and is really quite bright.
