I'm floating a roast lunch on a foundation of a few beers here. ;-)

Cheers.

Tuesday morning. Now time to get some fresh produce from Walmart. The other grocery store was out of what I wanted a couple days ago. And I didn’t like the alternatives.

Well... In great haste at my local(-ish) greengrocers, I scooped up a paper bag of beautifully rosy red (and unwaxed) apples and multiple other bits. Yum!

Except...

The apples turned out to be...

Peaches!

Ooops... But still yum!

All good healthy fun...

Hmmm…a new variety of fuzzy apples. Lol.
Things didn’t go as planned for me either. I couldn’t find any sweet vidalia onions. I had to settle for yellow onions instead.

Yep all is just Peachy in Tracy...

Stage 1 in rebuilding my bed is complete, I had to move a night stand so I could have a place to move the mattress to.
Stage 2 is awaiting parts which is 2 center supports & an ikea center I-beam for a bed, #10 wood screws and 13 slats with predrilled holes and installing the parts.
Stage 3 is acquiring a new bed spring(3,000lbs vs 700lbs) to replace a broken one and installing the bed spring.

Posting on a Hump Day morning as rain from the west tries to mount these heights, but so far it's barely making the halfway mark.

Anyhow it must be coffee time (beers later).

[edit] A fine drizzle has finally started to fall.

Cheers.

Is that the old lead based pink primer trick?

I reckon that 7hrs of chores is enough for today as my spine calls out for a reset.

Cheers.

That was from a 1959 movie called Operation Petticoat. They needed to paint the sub but only had some red primer and gray primer. When mixed it made pink. in the end, the sub was saved by a girdle and a bra.

Red and Gray makes Pink? I thought that would be Red and White makes Pink.

Paint, I just need 5 gallons of White exterior for my home, maybe green or light blue or light gray for the trim.

All things bright and beautiful...

And we have about two days now of no complaints. The decoupling capacitors fix #1 and #2 look to be holding up well despite the high heat.

Keep those bits a-movin'!

Roll on!! High-low!

... And...

Checking through some updated documentation for checking if a firmware update is due and, lo and behold:

"In the second half of ... series boards will be switched to new versions for shipment ... the new version has the following changes: ... Newly added 330uF electrolytic capacitor (Stronger voltage stabilization ability)..."

... Kinda kind of them to (not) warn us all on the old boards about that?...

(Or have they benefited from a few extra sales replacing the old with the new?...)

Roll on!

Posting on a damp Thorsday morning down under, but hopefully most of that wet stuff has now moved on.

Cheers.
