We're now up to a sunny 7C (feels like 4C) here as I start to prepare for another road trip.

But 1st I'll enjoy 1 more coffee.

Cheers.

Now that this week's road trip has been completed the mercury here has reached our expected 17C (feels like 14C).

Anyhow it's time fore 1 beer and then a spinal reset.

Cheers.

I think it ran away yesterday evening thanks to the noise Thor was making with his hammer and anvil

Yep.

We have springtime here again.

Meanwhile... Some parts further south have been washed away with Biblical deluges...

And the fossil fuels industries will continue to deny all their pollution until they too get washed away... Madness?

How likely would a electric vehicle be for you Martin. Me? Not likely at present. I live in a flat and charging infrastructure is slim. I can’t tell you where to find a supercharger station. Petrol is a different situation. Infrastructure for petrol is everywhere. And just thinking about the start of public transport. Electric cars outnumbered petrol cars in the beginning.

There's an app for finding a charging location, super or otherwise, it's called Plug Share, it'll tell you where all the charging is at and if there is new charging under construction too.

Thanks Julie. :-)

As the sun rose it was a slightly foggy and frosty 0C (felt like -3C) beginning here.

Time for another coffee.

Cheers.

How likely would a electric vehicle be for you Martin. ...

Very. And as soon as the write-down on my present vehicle runs its course.

The battery range now is a non-issue, even for zig-zagging across the Pennine hills here.

... And note that the main vehicle manufacturers are already introducing their own charging infrastructure across the country to stamp out any electrical utilities getting in there first... Here's hoping for some strong and meaningful regulation to stamp out the inevitable attempts at anti-competitive "technicalities"...

There's already a noticeable number of all-electric delivery vans around here, and even a traditional electric milk float doing the rounds! (Ernie?!!!) There's also an increasing number of Teslas that I've noticed.

So... We are quickly getting charged up!

Way to go... Sooner is better!

It isn't warming up much here as it's still chilly outside in that easterly breeze, it's a sunny 13C (feels like 10C) out there, but at least my surviving veggies have been tended to and Dog is off freely roaming the yard looking for things to bark at.

Meanwhile I'll just thaw out in 20C comfort with a nice hot coffee.

Cheers.

The 2023 Prius Prime has been upgraded, it now has a 13.1Kw battery under the rear seat with a 39-44 mile range, to get the most range pick the 17" rims, oh and the changes don't stop at the EV battery, the previous Prius had a smaller 8.8Kw battery, so the Prime now resembles a 3rd gen Chevy Volt, if Chevy hadn't canceled the Volt... At 240vac(16amps) the battery will take 4 hours to charge the EV battery, the battery can be charged on 120vac as charging will just take longer to charge on 120v, like overnight.

April showers for breakfast.

Following up with some Biblical drama for the scene developing all across the sky... Very Sci-Fi-esq dramatic...

Thor is fervently stoking up his furnace for a very dark and dramatic hum-dinger-drencher...
