Sunshine and we're suddenly into a heatwave and Nessie will soon be basking on the beach! Thor throws off his hangover later... See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

What a weird change to the weather!... The mosquitoes have gone blood thirsty bonkers... The air has gone tropical sticky sweaty warm. Yet the concrete slab here is stubbornly staying at a chilly 15 deg C to freeze yer feet off! And one of my new super efficient direct drive fans woke up to play at cooling for a while this afternoon... No one heard it! Fantastic!! Is it summertime yet? We had a great pyrotechnic display earlier this evening - with lots of rain to wash the streets. It was nearly overhead, and some of the shrubs and trees in the area have been somewhat beaten down, so I guess I'll be out tomorrow making noises with the chain saw and bush cutter. The mozzies do bite most feistily! One victim this evening swatted a gorged creature from his forhead and instantly looked like a chainsaw massacre!! Ouch... See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

I think that I'm finally getting over that wog that I picked up a few days ago, but I'm going to take it easy and stay extra warm for 1 more day at least. At least I can go back to using tissues instead of paper towels. Anyhow we've gone from 0C (felt like -3C) here this morning up to 15C (feels like 12C) with 16C being expected, though we may do better than that yet. Again there'll be no LLB today so I might as well have another coffee and think about a bite to eat instead. Cheers. |

I think I need a new scale to weigh myself with, the one I have weighed me once, then the scale has been trying and then quitting, even changing the batteries didn't help... Today the scale said 450-474lbs, then the scale turned off. Max capacity 500lbs the box said, busted is more likely. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Mine will error out once 150kg is passed, thankfully I'm 120kg (though I could do without 20kg of that). Well I wasn't going anywhere today, but I had to go across the road to get more milk if I was to have more coffees. Cheers. |

In my bedroom with a couple of fans running. I have a special window fan pulling in cool outside air in at 65°f and another fan blowing at me. Feels like a/c is on. |
