Venus and Mars shine very brightly in an inky dark blue twilight... And with a planetary magnetic burp, we may soon be treated to, for these parts, a rare plasma display! Enjoy! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

It's been just over 3 weeks since I had mine so I'm feeling boosted. Anyhow winter has certainly arrived here in the Aussie highlands as the temp gets to a sunny 10C (feels like 3C) with a icy gale blowing outside while we're just 1C away from our forecasted max of 11C (we may get past that with any luck), but between the ceiling fan and Robbie the Robot the temp downstairs up to 27C so I just throttled him back a bit. Well I might as well get my 3rd cuppa in for the morning now. Cheers. |

I tried to get vaxxed for Covid a 3rd time and my gf who has the car won't take me to the pharmacy, she says she's allergic to the covid vax. But she will go the Doctor with me, so one place is as good as another. Sneaky I know. My appointment had to be rescheduled. The Doctors Office tried to get me to go to an appointment 81 miles from my home, in a car that is nearly 25yrs old, 13 miles in the shape the car is in is better, they thought Yermo was near to the City of San Bernardino, it's not, Yermo is 13 miles from Barstow CA. I live in San Bernardino County, the City of San Bernardino is in the southern part of the county beyond the desert where Barstow is at. It's been just over 3 weeks since I had mine so I'm feeling boosted.I'm still waiting for those side trick wackadooddles to happen as yet, but you never know, I may just need another shot before those effects to kick in. Anyhow I grabbed 1 of my little almost 2.25 pounds, or 1.1 kilo, butternuts and it's now roasting in my nutri oven. I was going to have mash and other mixed veggies with it, but it just may have to do with the meatballs and gravy instead. Cheers. |

Good to hear we're all boosted. Mine will soon be getting tested at a series of meetings/talks where I can be sure there will be some who remain in denial about those pesky viruses... N95 mask at the ready! Gentle retorts at the ready for those still not mentally matured from their nappies! What happened to education and biology lessons?? I didn't need any veggies and mash to go with that lot as it made a huge bowl as it was and after another very long day I'm ready to crash for a while. Cheers. |

Posting on another frosty morning here in the highlands where it's currently -3C (feels like -6C), but it'll likely get colder over the next hour before sunrise occurs. Anyhow it's coffee time. Cheers. |

We've beaten our forecasted 18C with the mercury here already reaching 19C (feels like 15C) and there's still time to do better. On the inside Robbie the Robot went mad and I had to open the shed up when the temp hit 30C. Anyhow I'm just waiting on another 2L of spirit to finish dripping out of the charcoal filter to finish processing it. Then I might enjoy a beer. Cheers. |

Bacteria survive hibernating in space on the outside of the ISS! I remember hearing this at least a decade ago. I think then they thought they were reproducing, er, not dormant. |

Yet another long day is being had here again as I prepare some dinner between filtering batches (the drip charcoal filter must be dripping a little bit slower today). Cheers. |

Yes... Which all gives a good reminder of the importance of usefully ensuring that the air we breath in work spaces is clean and healthy... Back to our more down-to-Earth world of minimum/minimal standards and neglect and wilful ignorance and the bosses wonder why so may people are off work ill... We have readily available the technology to fix that... Yet?... Very glad that I'm not normally in the office! And for half an excuse: We need a (Buildings) "Facilities" Manager who is 'switched on' enough to keep the place healthy. Yet, anyone too 'switched on' just wouldn't be a buildings manager!
