Back home after doing a run into town so that a friend could drop their car in there for some work. I just have to do the reverse tomorrow morning. Cheers. |

Mmmm... Is it not easier to turn around so that you can drive forwards rather than breaking your neck going all the way in reverse... Or is the gear lever jammed? ! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Ha ha, very funny Martin. Well we actually got a bit of rain here today for a change, but unless something drastic changes in the next few days it'll certainly be the driest May in the 20yrs of my being here (I missed out on the driest May by 1 year, and the bushfires that came with it). Anyhow it's all dark again outside as the temp drops after reaching 18C (felt like 17C) here today and there's still no signs of a frost happening anytime soon according to the forecast. Cheers. |

That's enough of a Thorsday for me as I go to prepare for Good Friday's return. Cheers. |

Yep, with the very limited view from wing mirrors alone, the ultrasonic beeps and bleeps and the rear view camera are now essential. Next step is that the wing mirrors get replaced by diddy aerodynamic little cameras also... I'll just settle on going forward doing the reverse of yesterday in about 2,5hrs time. Then I'll be able to enjoy Good Friday. Cheers. |

It's time for me to do my trip into town. At least it's sunny this morning and not drizzling like yesterday. Cheers. |

Yep... We've rediscovered that radio waves don't work well underwater or with wet equipment... ... And also a very good reminder of just how much equipment uses radio waves... See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Trying not to be fried on Friday, it's supposed to get up to 96F outside today, it's 82 outside as I post, inside the temp is 80, 78-80 in my bedroom, I may need to replace an uninsulated hollow core exterior door that's between the kitchen and the rear bedroom, but the rear bathroom window first. A replacement door that has steel and is insulated might cost me $178.35 if the existing exterior door is a 32" wide door and not a 30" door, a 30" is expensive at near $500 or so at Home Depot this areas only hardware store on an initial look at the 30" doors.
