Did they have a engineer who now works for Boeing do the original install?

Nope...

My suspicion would like to fall upon a past techie who kept quiet about being red-green colour blind... We'd noticed a few times that he seemed to be very 'lax' about using the correct colours for the patch leads on various equipment panels... Until one day we ran out of leads and he was sent off to pick up some new ones. For the ones he'd picked up he was convinced they were all red because he picked them up from the "red" box... Except we immediately saw they were green leads. The plastic sealed bags even said "green"... He was the cause of a lot of confusions... He's since working elsewhere where it's actually an advantage to be colour blind!

In reality, this one reversed cable has tamper-proof molded connectors and the connectors have been fitted either not as intended, randomly, or just randomly coloured... It is a different make to the other cables and is uniquely used on this box because it is the longest cable we had to hand.

Which is where testing that things work properly, and QA to ensure things reliably continue to work, are all so important...

All part of the fun of making things work!

Had a buffet brunch and I’m stuffed. Ready for a power nap. A very late supper much later sounds just what the doctor ordered.

Oooer...

Take a look at Zoe Health and Nutrition (YouTube podcasts)?...

There are very good suggestions to preferentially eat earlier in the day/evening and there are some very healthy good results seen for eating during a smaller time window during each 24 hour period.

Very healthily tantalizing!

Good to take a look?

Enjoy!

(Full admission to beer later... But hopefully balanced by other good activity...! :-) )

Winning on a windy Monday morning while waiting for sunrise as the big cliff to the east is ATM stopping the wet weather down at coast level from attaining these heights.

Anyhow it must be coffee time.

Cheers.

It's certainly not good outside, a heavily overcast sky with an easterly gale now blowing helping some overspray to make it up and over the escarpment as the temp creeps up to 13C (feels like 8C) here.

Even Dog doesn't want to come out of shed and I wished that I didn't have to go out and bring the bin in.

Must be time for a warming coffee break I reckon after doing that.

Cheers.

Here the temp is 88F and feels like 88, the temp is predicted to be 91 on Monday, 87 for 2 days, then 93, 97, 96, 98, 94, and 86 on Tues May 2nd.
In May I will be paying $312.15 for the 2nd and last installment and then have a new bathroom window installed, then I'll have one window left to retrofit. The last window behind my PC here cost me $370.00 instead of $624.30 and both windows are the same size and type, single hung dual pane vinyl window inserts... An increase of $254.30.

I wish I knew of a company that did insulation work in Barstow CA and would travel 13 miles beyond Barstow, my rear exterior door could use some work, Home Depot wanted $2500 at one time for a new front door, $2500 which by law I'd have to finance somehow as saving more than $728.26 could get my check revoked cause SSI has not been updated since 1989 for the asset limit or since 1972 for the rest of SSI.

With the help of some late sunshine the temp reached 17C (felt like 11C) here, but now that the sun has gone down the gale has died down to a lite breeze and we're back to 12C (feels like 10C).

Sadly that wind will return again tomorrow, at least there'll be no frosts while these easterlies persist.

Anyhow I guess that it's time to start thinking about something for dinner.

Cheers.
