Finally getting a coffee break in as I get my brewroom ready for some more bottling action.

Cheers.

By 'eck it's chilly wet as a storm blasts through...

Thar goes some sheet material as they sail by, upwards and onwards through the air and into the trees over yonder...

Mmmm... Is that why I'm staying hunkered down, snug and dry inside?...

We're just waiting for the wind to arrive back here and there's plenty of cloud about as the temp climbs to 8C (feels like 7C) after a 3C (felt like 1C) start with 19C expected.

Anyhow I'll enjoy this coffee break as I wait for my 1st lot of 12L of water to boil on the old 3 ring burner. At least my ensuite will get warmed up now. ;-)

Cheers.

I got the ensuite from 12C up to 17C before the heat went out, but the heat is back on now so that should get that warmer yet.

[edit] Time for a cool down and coffee break now that the heat is off.

Cheers.

Would you believe it?!... An electromechanical valve that gets sluggish and 'sticky' when cold, but is perfectly fine when not so cold?... Try catching that one out?!

There are two custom made washers at work that have that problem. The valve is on a air switch. Cold weather and it gets cranky and won’t open. The fix is a 5/8 inch box end wrench.

Give it a tap you reckon with said spanner of the right weight? :-D

Cheers.

Just have to put the spanner on the valve shaft and rotate the valve gate open. Out comes the dirty water.

Dodging a cold blustery breeze...

Have we been knocked back to the tail end of winter?...

The sun is up and shinning well so far, it just has to be seen if we can make it to 18C today, but we will have that westerly wind to contend with again.

Cheers.

Yes, soon the Ice and the Mammoths might show up. But the Dinosaur Train has none on board.

Meanwhile, on a very comfortably warm computer... Lost in some arcanery...

How big is a binary image file going to be... At what offset in storage... And will it overspill the 'safe' 64kiB that has been thoughtfully reserved...

And then... Will it all work?

And after how many coffees??!!!
