Getting ready to air fry a pork chop. The last one was good and done. So I am zeroed in on the cooking time and temperature for it. Now I will have to experiment on chicken with my air fryer. Those infomercials make cooking look easy. It’s just those times and temperatures may vary from oven to oven problems. |

That reminds me, as soon as it warms up downstairs I'd better change the oil in my deep fryer. Anyhow there was no frost on the ground here this morning, but having the power go out overnight for about 3hrs didn't help the temp inside though that is now back to where it should be between 17-18C (13-14C was a bit on the cool side after getting out of a nice warm bed). Time now for another coffee break and then I'll check the temp downstairs. Cheers. |

I wish I had it off. But it is not one of the seven paid holidays at work. |

That reminds me of 22yrs of working at Sydney Buses (well it was the Public Transport Commission originally back in the day and I have no idea what they call it now after another 20yrs). Oh the public holidays that I use to do as a driver, until I'd been there 10yrs and seniority started to play a part in getting holidays when most were about as well as early am shifts. Then I did the stupid thing of becoming and inspector so I had to start all over again, especially if any special events were on at Olympic Park (where they held the 2000 games and still hold many sporting events). The worst shifts I found were those "broken shifts", Basically 4hrs on then 4hrs off followed by another 4hrs on. Anyhow I better get to bed seeing as it's now over a couple of hours into tomorrow here as I try to shock my body clock out of daylight savings mode. Cheers. |

Finally found my keys last night. They fell out my t-shirt pocket and got binned as I was getting out of bed. I have a bin near my bed and apparently I scored 2 points without knowing it. |

Well done Admiral. ;-) I'm on my final coffee break of the morning as I continue keeping myself busy with a lot of little odd jobs about the shed as the temp here gets to 14C (feels like 10C) after a 2C (felt like 0C) with just 17C expected, but at least it's sunny and the wind isn't blowing so hard today. Cheers. |

Yikes! That's more like a De Santos sketch!! ... Or trying to talk with a pie-eyed drunkard... Meanwhile back in the fun of the real world... Would you believe it?!... An electromechanical valve that gets sluggish and 'sticky' when cold, but is perfectly fine when not so cold?... Try catching that one out?! And I've just had a good reminder that incremental updates, and testing each new step, gives far better results than multiple steps giant leaps into obfuscating optimizations... All a game of high hopes and management rush and haste, going against good engineering... Will we ever learn?... All good fun!
