We have beautiful brilliantly bright cool warm sunshine, and yet, the air has a sharp cold sting that feels like snow is due and... Sure enough, there's an occasional small cloud that releases a fleetingly brief powder light sprinkling of snow crystals that soon vanishes. What heavens above is that jet stream doing???!!!! The park repaired my window awning which was damaged by the last storm. The area did get some rain, though it was less than 0.50". My gas bill is higher than normal, that is cause the rear bathroom door is open so the 3 cats have access to the litterbox that's in my rear bathroom and the bathroom makes the house feel cold, I'm going to get a new window in the rear bathroom which will make it warmer in here. I just paid $312.15 or 50% down, with the balance not due until May 2023. Before the glass company came out and did their outside measurements it was $331.18, I saved $19.03, my measurements were inside, theirs were smaller than mine but only by a small amount. $132.80 was my last natural gas(methane) bill. It looks like this morning's concrete pour has been postponed as there isn't a builder in sight as yet. Anyhow I'll enjoy this cool and cloudy morning which kicked off at 16C (felt like 17C) and is now at 19C with 24C being expected along with showers and a possibly severe thunderstorm (or 2). Now where that 2nd coffee? Cheers. |

Meanwhile the moon shines brightly beautifully illuminating some ghostly high altitude wispy stuff. Almost looks alien! ... So where's the deep aurora when we finally have some clear nighttime sky?! We have some brilliant cherry blossom that has burst into flower. And the gritters are doing their rounds... There's going to be a good frost for sure... I've finally got it (I got sidetracked for a bit there) and the builders have finally turned up to finish forming up. Cheers. |

Well I've enjoyed a cool relaxing day (even if there was no sunshine to be seen) and the builders are now ready for a slab pour in the morning. Cheers. |

Well........ It's been snowing here for a couple of hours, but nothing to show for it apart from damp, slippy roads and pavements (sidewalks for colonials). Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Just read a county-wide warning. Watch for flooding. We have 2 weeks of rain predicted, as much as 5-8 inches per day on a couple of the days! This is going to be warmer water. So a lot of snow melting is expected too. I am going to have to keep a close eye on the water level in the rivers. This could be very entertaining. |

It's snowing... There's a few frozen bits lingering from last night also. Grey chilly stuff... See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Winning with some new 'daylight' LED lighting to replace some decades old fluorescent things from decades ago. Was a little worried the new stuff might be a little too bright... Then again, the extra light is much appreciated for the work area! And the light colour is much more pleasing to the eye and the brain. ... The new stuff is also colour matched so that at last, even the colour blind amongst us can read the resister colours without wasting time fumbling to cheat with a DVM! :-p We now just need summer to return to warm the place up again... Having furnace problems. Luckily it’s not cold yet. The furnace startup sequence is longer to light the pilot. When the main burner starts it runs for a few seconds and quits. The blower fan runs just to finish out the cycle. |

I don't think that we'll see much sun here this morning again, but there should be some action across the back lane today to keep me reminiscing of my pre bus driving days. I got why the slab base had to be perfectly level and when all those 4 legged square stools were unstacked they locked together when put side by side with blockers going into the open holes on the unconnected sides. More fiddly than the polystyrene block system, but without all the little white bits floating about all over the place. Anyhow it must be time for my 2nd coffee as sunrise approaches. Cheers. |

Well the snow decided to stay overnight, indeed there is a covering of it now, and more arriving. Not up to the standards of many countries just enough to cause great panic among the majority of the English..... and to cause me to want a nice steamed treacle pudding with loads to custard Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |
