I can hear the agricultural store next door opening up so I guess that it's time for that yard inspection to take place. [edit] That easterly wind just had to come up as I went outside so I'm feeling a little chilled now, but the yard is ready to be finished. A T-shirt is now on under my heavy cotton work shirt and a coffee is in hand warming me back up before I head back out. Cheers. |

It's Christmas!!! Fluffy white snow is wafting all around in a lazy languid way riding on a gentle breeze... See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Meanwhile near the middle of England there is no white stuff, fluffy or otherwise, floating around. Just a very blue sky with a bright shining ball in it - could that be the Sun?? Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

I found and plugged up another entrance a fly could and did use, yeah I have 1 fly in my home now after several days without any, though it might be hours before I kill it. A can of expanding foam will seal up the a/c for good... In about 3 weeks when I order 2 cans... The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

It's gone all frosty... So where'd those beautifully mild temperatures go?! Instead of just mud, we now have deep mud layered with a tantalizing crust of ice... Gloopy treachery... See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Well I got a few of hours in weeding the old veggie garden bed (I havn't quite finished yet) and I well remember now why I removed 16 garden beds from around the yard many years ago. It's not good when the the top half of the body stops talking to the bottom half properly while getting down that low and throws some into the mix. :-( Then as soon as I sat down a couple of buddies turned up for LLB so that has thrown the rest of the day out now. Anyhow now that I'm alone I'm going to have a feed so that I can take a pill and go down for a spinal reset (hopefully). Cheers. |

Being in pain since my right foot hit the chair leg this morning, thankfully I took some Bayer back and body for the pain, otherwise I wouldn't be able to eat or walk. My shoes are on and that helps, except for the hunger. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Well it was a 13C (felt like 12C) here as the sun broke the horizon and 28C is expected today, but thankfully I won't be outside today in that heat. Cheers. |

... Very tempted to join you on the beach! Add a veggie BBQ?? ;-) ;-) Meanwhile beyond the twilight zone under a canopy of frosty stars, we have... Lots of frost and the surreal patterns of newly forming ice. At least sub-zero is consistently frozen. The freeze-thaw whilst see-sawing around zero is a right [unspecified] pain to have to continually re-de-ice things. Until the fiery furnace ascends in the morning!! Well I got a few things done downstairs this morning while it was cool as we're now up to 24C (feels like 21C) outside which is about the same downstairs with all those solar panels keeping the sun off of 3/4 of the shed's roof (before them it would've got up to 30C down there by now) and I'm about to enjoy a few beers in 21C comfort upstairs. Cheers. |
