The flood watch was lifted. We got a lot of rain and high winds. New Year's day I was greeted with damage to the roof of my chicken pen, one of the boat houses, a rain gutter blew off and the mizzen mast of my sailboat cracked. Officially the winds were in 50-60 mph, but we had to have a gust or two much high to crack the mast. The only thing on the sail was Christmas lights. With some places getting as much as 4 inches of rain we had flood warnings. The Cosumnes River broke a levy that flooded hundreds and killed two. While my area did not flood the river was within 4 feet of the top of the level. It's been a fun New year so far. And we expect more. I think the drought is over now. |

I think the drought is over now.Not hardly. About 100+ feet of water needs to sink down into the aquifer across the entire central valley to be out of drought. Too many farmers pulling too much water out of the ground. |

Winning after buying the TV for my wife in a local store. Walmart was not bad, at the time the price was, gasp $348 plus tax & FREE ship($380.97 total) for a Vizio V555-J01 4K UHD tv, which was lower than anywhere else and I did not want another roku tv which doesn't support bluetooth. I'm still having structural technical problems, just not with the TV. In other news my Toshiba Satellite laptop even with a shaky power connector is working with a new battery that's charging according to Win 10, with a new 90w psu too(45w is stock), a right angle power connector doesn't work right, while a straight power connector works, I also entered the wifi password and MSE is working just fine. We're pushing the monthly average temp here up today as we get to a very summerish 31C (felt like 29C) as these clouds turned up. Cheers. |

It looks like bluestar is buying another round. We ask for a ruling from Judge Smith. Does a lot of words and a hot link qualify for this action in word link? |

Don’t worry about it Mike. I like my computer with 4K resolution. I had no idea my 10 year old graphics card would have a resolution this high. I just took a stab in the dark and got lucky. |
