Foggy out there. Down to a 1.5 mile from 10. Cold side to. I don’t want to open frozen door seals. My car is bad enough during winter with it. Trying not to tear a seal opening the door.

I got a bit done here this morning, as the temp already hits 19C and rising fast (until the rain and storms get here. I filled the rest of the bin with wisteria cuttings (joining the Lady Banks cuttings) opening up my driveway a bit and put a 2nd tyre onto each potato stack (just to encourage a little more height instead of spread, the compost will go in when they're ready for that) while it looks like I may have to thin my butternut pumpkins out as it seems that every seed that went in has now sprouted and I'll also see if I can get 1 of my wicking tubs going today with some Cos lettuce, spring onion and baby carrot seeds.

Anyhow I reckon that it's time for a coffee break before I start on anything else.

Cheers.

I got 1 wicking tub started off with a foot long row of spring onions and 4 spots for Cos lettuce so it's time now for short beer break before I prepare another for carrots and Pak Choi.

I would have started on the other by now, but a storm line put an hour delay on the 1st.

Cheers.

Winning on an extremely foggy Tuesday morning after yesterday's wild weather, lucky to see anything 50 metres away ATM.

Cheers.

... Not actually in the Arctic but it sure feels like it! We're amongst a few lumpy bits easterly of the spine of the Pennines...

And all to no surprise, delivery of a few but critical parts are now delayed one or two days due to snow, ice, lack of antifreeze, Black Friday, Christmas, football, too many sugar donuts, or whatever...

What new excuses do we next get for delivery dates?...

The fog is just getting thicker here and my 1000L liquid transport pod which had about 60L in it yesterday morning has overflowed so it'll be interesting to see what I caught in the rain gauge at 9am.

Anyhow I reckon that I deserve a rest day today after the last few weeks of flat out work getting my new veggie growing setup up and running.

Cheers.

Finally the fog is gone and the sun is shining brightly so I checked the rain gauge an hour early, which had 19mm in it, and did a yard inspection.

The yard seemed to do very well after all the extra drainage that I've put in, but I will have to put a 2nd downpipe into the gutter on the other side of my shed as while the northern gutter didn't overflow this time with its extra downpipe the southern 1 was overflowing a lot during the deluge late yesterday afternoon. I'll also have to fit an overflow pipe to my liquid transport pod (that supplies water my new veggie growing setup) to direct that out to the back lane drain instead of across the middle of the backyard.

Anyhow it must be time for a 2nd coffee break.

Cheers.

There's No ski slope near here, but it has been cold enough, 31F this morning, all this area needs is snow making equipment...

Meanwhile in the northern highland of N.S.W. we've done 1C better than our forecast (so far) at 24C (feels like 20C), but for a "mostly sunny" day it's been mostly cloudy.

Anyhow after a few beers with a few mates I might take the chance and get a short spinal reset in.

Cheers.
