Enjoy your time off Admiral. ;-) I'm about to prepare the mower for another run over the yard before more days of rain return, but I'm going to enjoy a coffee break 1st. Cheers. |

Well that's it for me for a Thorsday and I hope that the rain holds off long enough tomorrow so that I can get my usual Good Friday morning wander in without getting wet. Cheers. |

Try Starlink? Meanwhile... What a beautiful bright day in this part of the world! Outside in a relaxed autumn evening watching a surreal game of chess. And recently passed a (completely legal) 150mph test... The mechanism ran beautifully smooth right across the design spec. Now relaxing outside with a beer or few and people. We still need to work on educating people about things they can't see... Have fun!!! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

Well it looks like I'll get my Good Friday wanders about the village in before the rain gets here. By the time I've got those out of the way I'll be back in my brewroom bottling more beer. Anyhow I'll get in another coffee break before the supermarket opens. Cheers. |

I found out something, if you have a DeepCool product you might know this already, they make 2 sets of screws for their 360 radiators. The long screws do work as intended and are difficult to mount 3 fans to the radiator, but the short screws only work to mount the radiator to the case, at 6mm long they are ok for this, but for mounting the fans to the radiator they are too short, so I have on order some 6-32 5/16"(7.9375mm) machine screws to try and fix this problem. So I can mount the radiator and fans as a unit to the case since I want to be able to dust the radiator from time to time. The 6mm screw can on one corner mount a fan to the radiator but not on all 4 corners as the screws are just too short. If I went to 6-32 3/8" screws this would be 9.525mm in length and I'm not sure if M3.5-0.6 thread size screws would work in place of 6-32 screws. After a few hours of pruning out in the sunshine I'm cooked and ready for a LLB. Today kicked off here at a clear and fresh 2C (felt like -1C) and we're now at 17C (feels like 15C) with a sunny 20C being expected that we may get to for a change. Cheers. |

Well that was a fun event, yes REAL fun..... A friend and her dog took part in a "Muddy Dogs" event in aid of Battersea Dogs home. A really friendly time, plenty of sun a bit of wind, some mud, some water and folks kept loosing their footing and getting more muddy that dogs. Then there was the lady (spectator) who was wearing a very fluffy light coloured coat, she didn't have a dog, but every muddy passing dog took pity on her and relocated some of their mud in her direction....
