It was a frosty and misty -1C (felt like -4C) start here at sunrise with a sunny 15C being expected and hopefully that wind won't be so bad here today so that I can get back to my trench warfare.

Cheers.

All seasons in one day...

And some trees are bemused into a false Autumn...

Meanwhile, despite the heavy rain, the waterways round here are still running low...

2 wheelbarrow loads of dirt, mud, small stones and wisteria roots plus a bucket full of rocks latter and my drainage trench now actually goes somewhere so now I just have to wait until Tuesday's rain to see how it flows and if I may need to plane it out a bit more to fully drain.

Anyhow seeing as Good Friday is now Saturday I better start thinking about hitting the sack.

Cheers.

Winning now that I've finally got all my current outside projects finished. :-D

I just have to wait for tomorrow's rain to arrive now to see how it all goes at trying to keep my backyard and driveway to the shed drier. ;-)

Cheers.

Winning on a chilly and windy Tuesday morning in the highlands, but if there was any snow here overnight it got blown away.

Cheers.

Steamy hot it is...

108F here, humidity at 9%, predicted high like yesterday 109, inside temp is 88 and 1% chance of rain.

At least I don't live in Death Valley which is at 116 currently and has a 15% chance of rain.

I was hoping to get into the brewroom this morning, but I just can't seem to get warm enough as yet to move freely enough to do the job (though it's still early and I'm still hopeful).

We kicked off here at 1C (felt like -3C) and 2hrs later it's 2C (still feels like -3C) as the wind starts to pick up speed again while a hopeful 11C is expected.

I'll have another good tonne of firewood dropped off here tomorrow to give my new kindling splitter and lump hammer something to do for a while while keeping the whole place warmer.

Now it must be time for my 2nd coffee break of the morning.

Cheers.
