As this cold gale tries to blow us off the top of this mountain the mercury has reached 10C, but it feels like 2C out in that wind.

Anyhow seeing as Martin is shouting I'll wander over to Rocky's for drink.

Cheers.

Good night folks. Just enjoyed a nice canoe trip. Temps outside are very comfortable. About 70f and plenty of moon light.

+35°C now. I do NOT like it at all.
Tomorrow though, it will be more normal summer temperatures.

Yesterday we had 40°C, that really hurts.
My blood pressure drove roller coaster with me.

Winning on a damp and blowy Good Friday morning.

It's 7C (feels like 1C) here this morning while 11C is expected.

Cheers.

I just got back from the supermaket across the road and it's not at all nice out there as the temp here is up to 8C while that cold wind is making it feel like 0C (and it was trying hard to blow me away).

Anyhow I just have to brave it again when the new 8L pressure tank for my water tank pump turns up (you'd think that they would make them to last longer than 20yrs, but then again..).

Time to see if I can get a coffee in before that happens.

Cheers.

110 here, 111 is still predicted for Saturday.

Nothing like windows and bluetooth and a pair of headphones that windows 7 with the latest drivers can't find...

I think it's either the TP Link bluetooth usb adapter or the headphones...

The headphones works with my Samsung Galaxy S10+ smartphone just fine.

We're now at 9C (feels like 1C) as this gale blows harder and my pressure tank has been delayed until after lunch.

Cheers.

I know the feeling about needing a new water pressure tank. It sucks then the rubber bladder fails.

Flew through some tests for a beautiful evening.

Even though a road was closed for rather a long detour... (Road melted?!)

We have reached up to 10C (feels like 3C) as the gale eases a little and we get some splashes of sunshine (this is certainly an unusual winter in the highlands down under).

I know the feeling about needing a new water pressure tank. It sucks then the rubber bladder fails.
Yes is does suck and is very annoying as well with the pump pulsing every 100ml (open a tap up too far and it really hammers). :-(

Electric sports car maybe?

Or 1 of these beasts?

Sigh. Its slow season at work. All should be wonderful. Why the H am I having to do overtime? Last time I was this busy it was in the middle of a pandemic. They are talking about more spread and higher numbers in hospital beds. You don't think? Well, I guess if you want to be my customer, party like it is 2019.

Well my pressure tank just turned up, but at this time of the day it'll have to wait until tomorrow morning when I'm more flexible to get down under the shed to fit it.

So I think that I'll get a bit of a read and a spinal reset in now. ;-)

Cheers.

11C (felt like 5C) was reached here today and as I get ready for bed it's down to 8C (feels like 4C) now that that gale has eased right off to just a wind.

Cheers.
