There's a very crunchy frost on the ground here this morning as we kicked off here at 1C (felt like -3C) with just 9C expected today and along with high humidity it looks like my washing may take some time to dry today once I get it hung out in around an hour's time. Anyhow it must be long past time for my 2nd coffee break of the morning. Cheers. |

Well hanging out the washing was a chilling experience here this morning as that wind returned just as I was unloading the washing machine and it was 6C (feels like 0C) out there at the time. As we're about to enter the last hour of the morning here we're up to a sunny, but windy, 7C (feels like 1C) while the solar heating has downstairs up to 19C down there and it's 21C upstairs. Now I'll finally get my last coffee break for the morning in. Cheers. |

It was a hot one yesterday at work. Had a new temp I was training wilt in the indoor heat. I guess I will have to wait for trainee 4 to show up and cross my fingers. |

Mmmm... It is getting thunderously murky here also... Thar'll be some tumultuous goings on up there somewhere soon enough! (Hopefully not round here. I don't fancy a drenching... Where's mi supersized brolly?) See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

It's 96F outside with a prediction for 103 today and 100+ for the next 9 days, all the way to the 16th. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

We got off to a 2C (felt like -3C) start here and due to the wind there's almost no frost about (9C is expected here again today). But unless my little mate turns up this morning to get started on a new project I'm not sure what I'll be doing today as I got my usual Hump Day domestic duties out of the way yesterday. I also don't think much will get done over the following few days either as our 2nd antarctic blast is due to hit here tomorrow and I can feel the freezing wind in my bones already. Anyhow it's time for a coffee. Cheers. |

It might be sunny out there, but I'm keeping the heavy curtains closed here as it's only 4C (feels like -1C) out there. The solar heating system downstairs has kicked in and now has that area up to 15C (from 6C) so I'm expecting to get to a workable temp down there with needing the wood heater. Anyhow I'm just about to get into my 3rd coffee for the morning as I decide my next small move. Cheers. |

That turned out to be a damp one... The rain didst come sheeting down. Is this really merely "Up North" rather than monsoon India??... Ok, somewhat drenched and now drying out. At least nothing has gone fizz pop bang this time. To finish off... Where's mi brew?! See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |

It's been a bright and sunny day here today, but it would've been much better without the wind, though 9C (felt like 3C) was the best that we could get out of it. Anyhow with only 30mins of sunshine to go I better start battening down the hatches to keep the cold out tonight. Cheers. |

As the mercury here pulls into Frostville and there's nothing on the TV worth watching I'm off to a nice warm bed to see if I can to the halfway mark of the book that I started this morning. Cheers. |

Light rain and thunder outside currently. Weather radar says more coming this way. Had a mozzie decide I was it’s next meal. It was a big nasty bugger. It didn’t go for any exposed skin. Just landed on my shoulder and drilled through my tshirt. It felt like a horsefly biting me. |

Looking around, we've got completely different weather in each direction! At least nothing as drastic as the newly discovered 5000km long wall of acid stretching across Venus... See new freedom: Mageia Linux Take a look for yourself: Linux Format The Future is what We all make IT (GPLv3) |
