Well the mercury here reached 21C (felt like 19C) without any sunshine today and the rain is late getting here as usual, but it will get here sometime tonight after that so called sun sets. Not a lot got done here today as I just got the cutoff saw ready to start cutting steel when the crew turned up ending further progress (they seem to think that I need reminding about how many days are left until 2nd jab bus trip, daily). We don't know what the old fellow who owned the cutoff saw was doing with it, but it took a far bit of degreaser and a lot of scrubbing to get it back to the paintwork again this morning before fitting a brand new 355mm disk to it to replace the smaller (and slightly worn) 300mm that it came with, but wasn't set up for proper use (it wouldn't cut right through whatever you were cutting). Anyhow the so called experts reckon that we're now in for around 8 days of rain here, my yard will be a swampy jungle by then, so I'm hoping that the breeze won't be blowing any of that rain into front of my shed as I want to be sending sparks out that way of it without getting wet. Cheers. |

Winning while being up far too early on this P.O.E.T.S. Day down under. I hope that my mates won't be around again today just to remind me that we have 1 day less to go so I can get some work done. I'd get started now, but I doubt that I'd be popular about the village cutting steel at 4am in the morning. Cheers. |

Well it looks like the rain has finally shifted away from here for a while, but it's a bit too late to do anything now. Cheers. |

Winning with a bedtime post now that Friday night has become Saturday morning. Maybe I'll even get a chance to cut some steel up later on. Cheers. |

The burden I had since I was a teenager, knowing my sister was not ok and why she died @ 53yrs, made me really sad, I loved my sister, before she died she descended into madness and I could do nothing and a certain drug to replace one the body normally makes had to be substituted and we were all(my dad, my brother & me) told it would one day be rejected by her brain, I felt helpless... Supposedly it was a mental breakdown that caused this to start ticking like time bomb, my sister even though she'd had a hysterectomy thought she was pregnant for the last few years of her life. Winning while the sun is out on my Saturday morning. I'll just get another coffee into myself before getting into that pile of steel. Cheers. |
