What a crappy day. Got home to find my fridge has died. And to top that off, also just heard (and not from my ISP, but from a news site), that my ISP is no longer going to provide an email service- it's handing it off to a 3rd party, and will "cover the costs for the next 12 months", but neither my ISP nor this 3rd party can say how much they will charge us to continue to use our old email addresses after that time. Time to look for a new ISP. What a massive PITA as so much has to be done online these days. Grant Darwin NT |

The next 3 days will have the upper left coast with an excessive heat warning, 90 yp 95f temps. The good news is my AC is working well, we won't have an extream heat warning and I'm not in the southwest. |

The good news is my AC is working well, we won't have an extreme heat warning and I'm not in the southwest. Weather report from today to the 18th 102-106F, 19th on 86-95F, I live in the Western Mojave Desert. My 15100 btu ac is also working quite well, eventually the ac and my 2.5ton gas furnance will both be replaced by two 12000 btu ductless heatpumps seer 20-23 @ 120v each. Current temp is 93 w/a high of 105. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's

18 miles west of Seattle now has 89f and my indoors is a cool 73, ootside is will hit 95 but indoors will remain 73 as long as the AC continues to function. |
