Well I just got informed by our village chemist that our vaccines for here have again been further delayed (that's 4 times now) with all doses now being kept down in Sydney as the outbreak down there hits 3017 infections along with 14 deaths. :-(

Of those cases 203 are in hospital with 53 in ICU and of those 27 are now on respirators and to make matters worse those anti-lockdown anti-vax covidiots are expected to gather down there again today. :-O

They should just round them up and while they have all them disease riddled pests hit with every vaccine know to humanity. :-)

By the end of the last reporting period the world's total case tally had passed 197.9 million while deaths exceeded 4,223,400. :-(

And if it wasn't for 3 states in the U.S. not returning any numbers the U.S. would've broken the 100,000 new daily case count mark. :-O

The only change at the top end of the death list was Indonesia jumping over Iran and Germany into 12th spot , but down the bottom end saw Vietnam take flight from 130th place only to have to land for fuel in 109th.

Changes in the case list were Tanzania making a leap into the top 200 and becoming the 198th member of the 1K+ club, the British Virgin Islands sailed past Sao Tome/Principe and Turks/Caicos into 191st while Monaco bumped New Zealand down from 185th, Guinea-Bissau passed Barbados before the Isle of Man jumped over both to claim 179th as Laos leapt over Liberia, Saint Lucia and Niger to land in 172nd, Burundi became the 169th member of the 7K+ club before taking 168th spot off of Yemen and the Bahamas took 149th from Mali.

Togo replaced Somalia in 145th spot, Martinique jumped over P.N.G. and the Seychelles to claim 141st as Guadeloupe jumped over the Seychelles and Mayotte to take over 139th, Eswatini passed Mauritania before both passed Suriname and Gabon and into 132nd & 133rd places respectively after Guinea passed Gabon before Fiji leapt over both to land in 129th, Australia removed that cheeky little from 126th while Cyprus became the 105th country to enter the 100K+ clubhouse, Zimbabwe passed Ghana, Finland and Botswana to grab 100th and Mozambique swept Namibia from 98th spot after Vietnam took flight over Namibia as well as Uzbekistan, Albania and Estonia before coming down to refuel in 94th.

South Korea displaced Zambia from 84th place, Myanmar leapt past both Lithuania and Egypt while Sri Lanka replaced Venezuela in 67th, Guatemala passed Croatia before Cuba disposed of both to take control of 60th as Kazakhstan passed Lebanon before Thailand jumped past both into 44th, Japan became the 33rd member of the 900K+ club, Malaysia booted Romania out of 29th after Iraq took 22nd from Chile and finally to finish things off was Iran removing Germany from 12th place.

Up here the press is going wild that Delta is getting through vax. However I haven't see one report on which vax(s) it is getting through. Saw a report saying XX% of the cases at place ZZ were vaxed. Well if 95% of the people in ZZ are vaxed, you would expect XX% of sick to be vaxed. Press is terrible at statistics, but wonderful at hyping fear.

Locally 100% of the people in ICU are un-vaxed. Also there are stories that younger people are dropping much faster than old people did at the start of the pandemic. Also the report that the r is 5 to 9 for delta is very troubling. That is high enough to essentially insure everyone who can get it will get it.

At last count there was only 2 people in hospital that only had 1 vax shot and neither of them are in ICU, they're just getting a little oxygen therapy due to their age, but all those in ICU are all un-vaxed.

Most of those those here infected who had had 1 shot reported symptoms no worse than the flu at worse while others in the next group reported symptoms no worse than the common cold, there were a surprising amount that didn't even know that they were sick. Of those that had both shots the slight majority report cold like symptoms while the next lot report no symptoms at all, but there are a rare few that report flu like symptoms.

Anyhow I'll be having another bi-annual again in 3 days so I'll see if my doc has anything there, but I guess that I'll just wind up with another 6 month script and a flu jab and told to behave again.

We only have to look at our own TL04 who had both his injections, has some significant health issues. He was infected, which given his health problems one could reasonably expect to lead to an extended stay in hospital, possibly in ICU, but because he's vaccinated and he acted quickly it was a relatively mild infection which is being treated with drugs at home.
Yes, you may be vaccinated, but you can still get it, but the chances are that you only get a mild infection.

Kelly was only interested in defending himself from slander, but his attitude (well, he is a politician).
Ally on the other hand surprised me with her attitude, that is no way for a presenter to act.

Murdoch, Jones and Kelly says it all, but the actual clip involved was centered on that fake U.K. document that was stating a high number of deaths from vaccines compared to the number of deaths from COVID-19. I mentioned a bit about back here, Message 2080594, and that was old news way back then, but it was funny at the end though when both Jones and Kelly started taking questions and were being shot down by the real facts left, right and center which produced 2 of the reddest faces ever seen on a screen. Jones has basically been in hiding ever since while that fruitcake 1 term politician Kelly won't be around much longer either (his electorate and party has already dropped him with their replacements just waiting for the up coming elections to be held to see who replaces him).
