Thursday nite post. Off to Hanford in the morning.
Most distant project I have.

What's happening in Hanford besides Ligo and nuclear waste clean up?

I have a housing project in Hanford called Live Oak. It was purchased by the prior president of my company. We have been trying to sell it for several years. I am meeting a local builder to do a final walk thru. If all goes well my company makes $12 million. Otherwise it sits.

Which one? Don’t want to shoot fire from my mouth.

Buffalo style chicken mac and cheese, it even has some blue cheese. It was quite good, not really hot.

The upper left coast is having a dark, wet and windy morning. I much prefer the rain to the wild fire smoke.

Strategic firing operations continue on the Bobcat fire here on the lower left coast. Still have that smoke.

Bobcat, a fire so big it can threaten both cities South of the mountains and the High Desert, both sides of the San Gabriel Mountains...

Drove 8 hours today, 4 each way. I saw 6 new fires. People are being carless or setting them intentionally.

Hazard reduction burns, firebreaks and burnoffs have been going on all around this state all winter this year (weather permitting) up until these winds turned back up this week (at least this village is now regarded as a safe staging area again after 6yrs), but there are a few small bushfires in progress down along the coast. Hopefully enough has been done now to avoid another fire season like we had last year, but at least there's no more stupid B.S. red tape to go through this year to do a hazard reduction burn which has helped immensely.

Cheers.
