What does it matter, what the state of the Democratic party is, when Trump has almost totally broken the US "Separation of Powers", so that he can do almost anything he wants and there is no way of restricting him.

Correct. The issue is the Republican party which will not do its sworn duty to the Constitution. How 1.0 got power, now 2.0 is doing it.

Some Russian thoughts...
Trump 2.0: End of the Old Era, but Not the Beginning of a New One
https://valdaiclub.com/a/highlights/trump-2-0-end-of-the-old-era-but-not-the-beginning/
Most often, the defeat of an incumbent president is the result of a deep economic crisis, for which society blames him as the leader of the country. Another factor hindering re-election may be the country’s involvement in a long war involving significant losses which, as a result, is unpopular. The third factor is the unexpected appearance on the political scene of a strong, independent candidate, the formal or actual split of the ruling party, the dispersal of the incumbent president’s electorate, and, as a result, the opposition candidate’s coming to power.
...
Trump 2.0, be he strong or weak, triumphant or cornered, benevolent or hostile – will in any case become a symbol of the end of the old era, but not a symbol of the beginning of a new one. For the United States, for the European Union, for Russia, for China and for many other leading players in world politics, the great turning point, most likely, will not be in 2020, but in 2024. The “Moment of Truth” in world politics, the time of generational change in political and economic elites, the time for revising national values and priorities, the time for the beginning of the transformation of the international system has been postponed by another four years.
So the turning point won't be until 2024... Scary. Both Trump and Putin as world leaders another 4 years.

There is a juggernaut barreling down on the petulant Dims....U.S. Attorney John Durham......

......"the worm may turn. The real scandal is back on the horizon, and at last, we may learn that no one is above the law, and most certainly not a group of smug and mediocre apparatchiks who assumed they had the moral right to destroy a presidential candidate and later an elected president."

The Once and Future Scandal https://amgreatness.com/2020/02/09/the-once-and-future-scandal/?fbclid=IwAR0W3Hau3PYOX4hZrKnz-IqO4dvCoepiHcR3ea9zvEFjFIs-GTSk8QA6ZZ4

The reason for panic among the Dims is glaringly apparent....they smell the stench of the garbage they manufactured coming back to destroy them. During the coming months, especially those months immediately prior to the next election, this garbage will be irrefutably laid out for all Americans with two working brain cells to examine.

Not fantasy scripts concocted by a pencil necked geek named Schiff or Humptey Dumpy Nadler, but actual, concrete evidence of an attempted coup to remove illegally the elected President of the United States.

Karma is stalking the halls of Congress and the slimy little denizens of the Swamp are now in for the fight of their lives.

Tear up the speech you nasty drunken bitch, but We, The People, will NOT allow you to do the same to the Constitution.

You have already allowed Trump to completely rewrite it in his own image, how long do we have to wait for you and the GOP to wake up to the facts.

Friday from a young Canadian woman and economist who is rapidly becoming my favorite internet poster along with Candace Owens...she's a master word smith and incisive satirist...

From Valerie Sobel: Feb 7, 2020

A LOW BOW TO THE DEMOCRATS

It is highly unfair, partisan and biased to berate Democrats for the failed Impeachment process. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. The process didn’t fail and the DNC worked hard to illuminate truths and shift public opinion. Let’s give credit where credit is due without the slightest hyperbole or underestimation.

Pelosi’s and Schiff’s honest efforts resulted in the following at the conclusion of “Russian Hoax, Version 2.0”:

* Highest approval ratings for President Trump (higher than Obama’s at same time in presidency).

* Highest GOP approval ratings since 2005.

* Highest support of the President by Independents.

* Complete and total decimation of Joe Biden’s campaign (DNC’s anointed one for 2020).

* Advancement of a communist as the presidential front runner to obliterate all DNC chances in the next election.

* Exposed Romney and organically expunged his career from politics as a fair and just punishment. And reunited him with God.

* Unified the GOP and cultivated unwavering loyalty and support for President Trump amongst party members.

* Surgically identified who President Trump needed to fire from his administration.

* Jolted Nancy to the brinks of insanity on national television and likely to the end of her career.

* Successfully wasted more of taxpayers money, proving Trump correct.

* Kept FOX & Hannity at the top of media ratings.

* Brought Trump biggest crowds to rallies and re-energized his base in perfect timing for election.

* Showed the public that the Russians have a long way to go to skill-match Democrats in corruption of American elections.

* Forced official probe into Hunter Biden, a connection to the Obama administration.

* Finished the careers of vulnerable Democrat congresspeople from purple states, paving the way for GOP to potentially retake the House in 2020.

* Showed the public that the courage of one man against relentless three-year assault by hundreds from the corrupt establishment is indeed inspiring, powerful and rules-changing.

A YUUUUUGE thank you to the Democratic Party of United States of America for ensuring that the most important of Trump 2016 campaign promises got done with impunity and pin-point accuracy: the draining of the swamp.

No one should ever accuse the Democrats of not working with the President. And I would advise the President to cease calling them the Do-Nothing Democrats. Schiff, Nadler and Pelosi should receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom for all they’ve done for the country.

The fear and terror permeating the Democrat Party, the Democrat News Media and their supporter's in social media is very apparent.
Only in the fake news media is there any fear and terror, those being the keys to reaching their readership, those who refuse change, the GOP.

The only places I find that say any of that is correct is in the far right media.

Just taking one point, the polls, the only poll showing trump ahead is Rasmussen Reports/Pulse Opinion Research, a poll with a very long history of being about five points to the right of nearly all others. The polls may be narrowing from the 10 points difference that they have been at for the last few months, but to say they have switched the other way, takes a lot of imagining, unless you are a hard line Trump supporter.

Only 1/3 of Americans think the Senate was right to acquit
Hey isn't 2/3 the number needed to convict?!

The Democrat Party needs to convince more by November. Can they?
Only about half of the US eligible voters show up on voting day. I'm quite sure that if more people actually voted, Trump would lose the election big time.

Put some really off the wall Willie Horton stuff Rump might do out there and then close, if you don't vote, Rump wins.
<ed>Perhaps better close saying it will happen if you don't vote, to get GOPers - who aren't very bright - to stay home and get Democrats to the poll.

Well it looks like v2.0 is still after more votes from all the lowest of low minority nutters. :-(

‘QAnon’ conspiracy theory follows Trump on the campaign trail.
