I think it is Brent or Grant that describes that for about two or three years now, the scheduler is broken when it comes to dishing out AP tasks to hosts who have selected either "Run only the selected applications AstroPulse v7: yes" or the "If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications? no" settings in the project preferences. Those settings don't work anymore. The only way to get AP tasks consistently is to also select MB applications. Or select work from other applications when no work is available set to yes. In addition to that, I've noticed in the past 3 or so years that if you ask for TOO MUCH work, the scheduler refuses to give you anything at all. Especially if you have an empty cache. When I had an empty cache, I couldn't ask for more than 100,000 seconds of work, else the scheduler would say no tasks available. But as soon as I got 5 or so on board, I could ask for 10m seconds of work and it would be kind...ish. The more you get onboard, the more likely the scheduler is to give you more. Hey, I got two resends for the 26th. So still trickling in. Hope that the Arecibo observations from this past week make it onto the splitters on Tuesday. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

Hey, I got two resends for the 26th. So still trickling in. Hope that the Arecibo observations from this past week make it onto the splitters on Tuesday. Unfortunately the schedule got changed. I looked at the calendar this morning and it looks like no data was recorded for us, and won't be until May 30. |

Unfortunately the schedule got changed. I looked at the calendar this morning and it looks like no data was recorded for us, and won't be until May 30. Shucks, that's unfortunate. Seti@Home classic workunits:20,676 CPU time:74,226 hours A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association) |

When will it happen? |

When will it happen? Not sure if IT (ooo I've said it again) is running out of resends, or getting new data. Aricebo schedule (subject to change) says May 30 20:45-22 AST they will record some data for us. |

less than 3000 AP WUs out in the field, and about 30 returned each hour. I just checked the schedule and it is still on there to record data for us May 30 20:45-22 AST - you will have to do the math yourself to convert the time to a zone you like. I hope we all get at least a few each!!! |
