Correctly dismissing those infected with TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). They have intellectually, morally and ethically self-destructed.

Back to Subject.

Good First Step. Hopefully there will be a Second Step, and then another, and then...

Some madman hits the BIG RED button :-)

Would that be in Russia, India, Pakistan, China, France, Israel, DPRK, IRAN, the US?

Many 'BIG RED buttons' in the world....and certainly enough 'madmen' spread around.

Who will light the match has been the question for half a century.

That's what makes it seem so curious that so many are belittling the meeting between Trump and Kim, instead of expressing hope that maybe, just maybe, this time WILL be different.

At least they're talking instead of nuking.

......which I think is a good thing.......

I'm pretty sure that the UK/GB has a bunch as well left over from the Cold War days.

Absolutely. I don't know what will become of this meeting, but a small improvement is always better than none.

Also Trump is good at manipulating others psychologically, and I think he deliberately dissed Trudeau just before their meeting not because of of trade, because being bullyish, easily offended and angry at "loss of face" is what Kim relates to, and it would give Trump an edge in their meeting. It may be a long shot, but I wouldn't be surprised if Trudeau was secretly in on it. Canada and the U.S. have a long history of secret collaboration, which I hope continues.

Yes it will be different. This time Rump will give everything away, far worse than Jimmy Carter and the Panama Canal, and the USA will find out the only warheads Kim had were the test ones he already blew up.

Dennis Rodman said it if you know how to read between the lines. Kim wants respect, he doesn't want warheads.

BTW our swamp of a State Department correctly told Obama 5 years ago as soon as Kim had the program done he would run to the negotiating table. That's exactly what happened. Has ZERO to do with Rump.

Indeed.
And Kim invited Trump to North Korea at the Singapore Summit, reports the North Korean government news agency KCNA.
Kim also thanked Trump's invitation to visit the United States.
"The two leaders welcomed each other's invitation, convinced that it would be another important opportunity to improve relations between the countries," said KCNA.

Such a nice couple:)

One outcome which I don't think many have contemplated is: Marshall Plan v2.0 - Screw over your allies & kiss the ass of your enemies :-(

Of course he would. All that lovely cheap labour giving American corporations billions (with 10% siphoned off to offshore accounts of course).

So much for his American jobs for Americans & make America great again rant :-(

Yeah, the US REALLY screwed over France, Belgium, England and the other 'allies' with the Marshall plan.

Exactly how(not that I expect you to actually answer a question, just spew more opinion), did the US screw them over?

Someone already you asked to check on history. You failed, so here's your starter for 10 :-)

The "good ole" US of A gave Germany 60% discount on their repayment bill, yet you had us (your ally) pay 100% which was only cleared this century.

It seems that along with Clyde you only believe in "your" version of history :-(

Ya know Sirius, you're absolutely correct.

We are a bunch of Capitalist pigs who screw over everyone.

Well..........that's changing. Let's see how 'screwed' you feel when we quit paying the majority of NATO's bills. And when we redirect all foreign aid to countries that mass in the streets screaming death to America.

The Capitalist Pigs are going to concentrate of fixing OUR infrastructure and military with the funds that have been used to subsidize all the economies of the World EXCEPT the US.

When the dog becomes a nuisance 'barker' and bites the hand that feeds it..........you get rid of the dog.

The 'Fat Cats' of the G6 are starting to panic because their little scam of 'let the Americans pay for it' is coming to an end. The one way tariffs on trade levied against us are now being met with reciprocal taxes on those 'Fat Cats'.

So let's see how many Mercedes, Peugeots, and Range Rovers can be sold in Mogadishu to make up the loss of US markets.

Yes, if Kim follows through with his pledge to 'denuke', the US will invest in DPRK. And as usual the world crybabies will find a reason to vilify the action.

1: We'll be GLAD to get out of NATO, it'll mean WE CAN do for our armed forces what you wish to do for yours :-)
2: We haven't hit you with tariffs on your trade - Yes the EU has & we're still part of the EU, but we divorced last year & just going through the Degree Nisi.
3: We won't be crying over your actions/interactions with NK.

Just one question though: After you invest/spend billions there, will you give them a debt haircut like those you provided in 1953 to assist in gaining full economic stability so they can repay what is left after the haircut?

Their only alternatives to the USA is the future Russian Empire, China and the International Capitalist Oligarchy of the WTO.

Understanding 2,000 years of European greed, barbarism, superstition, ideology and stupidity. Will Europe make the correct decision to ensure their better future?

:-D :-D :-D
Your constant stating of that over many threads only confirms where the "Real Fear" lays :-)

@JE, sorry owe you a slight apology. I posted facts from memory. The actual overall writedown to Germany was approx. 50% - sorry about that.

Sorry Sirius B. The free ride has come to an end. Time to grow up and retake responsibly for your decisions and mistakes.
What FREE ride would that be?

Free ride? Please explain.
Europe is reacting as an adult child stomping and yelling against their meal ticket (daddy)?
Which country in Europe do you mean?
There are 50 sovereign states in Europe,

Accept, or don't accept this reality. The USA will probably not again to come to your assistance regarding 2,000 years of European greed, barbarism, superstition, and stupidity.

If I am incorrect. Why aren't you cheering and supporting the American withdrawal from supporting your industries?
1: YOU did not come to our assistance - your vitrol over all this far exceeds any teaching of History you may have done. Your leaders felt that Europe comes 1st. We managed quite well without for a few years until your arrival. I'm surprised that you & JE do not blame Britain for the attack on Pearl Harbour. After all the Japs learnt that fom our "Stringbag" attack on Taranto. At least someone took note of our tactics & experience :-) Shame your army didn't as Kasserine Pass shows.

You supported our industries? You sure about that? All your fatcats saw was ripe melons for the picking & you're still doing it which the world has finally woken up to. Good luck with that.

The Marshal plan wasn't a free ride.

Of course, if it wasn't for our fear of Stalin and there being no Marshall Plan.
It was that fear that gave rise to the Marshall Plan. ARE you now saying THAT there are issues in the world that truly scares the shyte out of America?

WOW, say you are kidding :-)
