It looks like Trump is going to back down on the dreamers to avoid another government shut down (well he still has his anniversary party to attend).

Trump plan offers citizenship path to 1.8 million immigrants.

Meanwhile SOROS THREATENS: Trump 'Will Disappear In 2020 Or Even Sooner'

And Trump Reportedly Ordered Mueller Firing — Until WH Counsel Threatened to Quit.

So how's those in La-La Land dealing with the truth of a government falling in on itself?

Cheers.

Carl was the only one who left........guess he doesn't want Sweden to participate in the Global Economic Renaissance.........selling enough Volvos are you?

By refusing to participate he shirks his duty to REPRESENT his view and supporters.

That's the same wrong thinking of which the Dims are guilty who refuse meetings with the President. Go ahead, stand outside and look in, the only thing you will get is ......cold.

Calle came at the very same time as when Trump arrived yesterday.
The photo of Air Force One landing in Zürich was taken by him .
He participated very much at the WEF18 meetings but was heavily delayed because "stable genius evidently needs solid security".
Here is he with UN General Assembly Miroslav Lajčák.

Calle left two hours ago because he has meetings in Dubai.
Here is a photo taken by him of his plane to Dubai at Zürich airport .

"stable genius evidently needs solid security"
He lowered himself to the level of Trump and exposes himself as no better.
Therefore, Trump wins again.

Nonsense.
You better check up who Carl Bildt is and what he stand for.
I guarantee you that you will surprised and for Americans in a very positive way.
He simply doesn't like incompetent political leaders.
Simple as that.

btw. He could tackle Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov very well.
Could Trump tackle Lavrov?
No way!

Could Trump tackle Lavrov? Of course, they truly understand each other. As the old saying goes: It takes one, to know one.

Lavrov understand Trump.
Trump doesn't understand Lavrov.
The only thing Trump understand is a balance sheet.
Everything reported to him has to be boiled down to a few sentences in one page.

Then he had to rant about the "fake" media.
US President Donald Trump said, "I’ve always gotten a lot of press, or media, I don’t know why… But It wasn’t until I became a politician that I saw how nasty, how mean, how vicious and how fake the press can be"
He was getting "boos" from the crowd in turn.

Weird though that Trump said at the meeting that America First doesn't mean America Alone.

Btw. Lavrov is very scary as I have been informed from Margot Wallström.
Now if Trump will negoiate with Putin that is not scary but much more dangerous than Lavrov...
Good luck Trump!

What merits has Trump?
And why do you say that Calle is name calling?
I have never heard Calle name calling anyone.

As someone trying to be a pragmatic and unbiased outside observer, I still have yet to understand this so-called incompetence as a leader, after filtering out that which is ultimately irrelevant, ie whether I agree with his policies or actions, or people outside the US like him or not, or he says silly things on Twitter or during speeches (which really count for nothing legislatively... actions are important.)

So other than some poor self-control in communication, I haven't seen anything that bad yet... for anything regarding corruption/emoluments, Russian interference, etc. I am not dismissing that there may be evidence but I am not in a position to judge one way or another (nor I think really are any of us unless we are much closer to the situation than we are letting on) so I stick to "innocent until proven guilty."

Maybe that's just me. :^p

Only 'weird' to those who don't understand he really, genuinely wants EVERYONE to share in the boom. By trading FAIRLY and reciprocally with America, everyone wins.

Trump has correctly championed the view of middle America that THEY did INDEED 'build that'. His policies have given hope again to the individual that they can be a success not because of big Government handouts but because big Government 'gets out' ...of the way.

I will be interested to see how much of a wage increase or 'crumbs' Nancy Pelosi gives her employees(vineyards, winery), in response to the tremendous TAX BREAK her corporation will receive due to reform.

The new tax legislation will exacerbate the deficit, the only way it can be dealt with is increased revenues or most likely inflation.
As a fiscal moderate my preference is borrow when you need to and pay it down when times are good. That is not what the tax plan does.
If he understands a balance sheet his actions don't respect that.

He may understand when a balance sheet says run to bankruptcy court, but he has zero clue about a profit and loss statement or a statement of cash flows and I'm sure he has never ever seen a business plan that he could find a flaw in.

Both I and Trump forgot about the deficit problem in a state budget:)
Now, remember there is no free lunches.
Someone have to pay for this one way or the other.
Or get busted like many of Trump's companies has.
Or perhaps Trump just says "Nah, that's our next president's problem".

The stock market is a bubble and it will burst.

Probably sooner rather than later.
Usually the stock market corrects itself about once per year. But it has been nearly 3 years since the last correction. The longest previous period without correction was nearly 5 years.
So there it is almost certain that the bubble will burst before 2020.

I have also seen that GDP was down in the 4th qtr of 2017, so Trumps target of 3%/year was not met in his 1st year. Predictions say it will not be met this year either. The dollar slumped on the GDP news.

Consumer sales were up, but mainly buying imports.

Actually the Global economy has been growing for some years now.
Thats why the stock markets is rising.
And it is not because of some Trump effect like he seems to believe.
But many will of course try to benefit more than the Global economy could provide.
So we will se many smaller bubbles bursting until the Global economy will stagnate.
Then...
