Eye, why do you keep posting all this fake stuff (mostly Russian based by the looks of it too) and sticking up for a crook? You were 1 of those continually bleating on about the "Rule of Law" yet the clown that you still support (v2.0, aka D.&D.D.) has been breaking those laws (that you say should be revered) left, right and center for decades now. Do you see how much of a hypocrite that makes you look to the majority of us here who reckon that no one at all should be held above any law? |

Isn't the problem, not the fact that some politicians are corrupt, but that their are very few laws in the US to prevent it. An example being that a politician in the US cannot be done for insider dealing from information gained in meetings with business persons. |

The whole U.S. political system is geared towards corruption. As I've said many times before, the U.S. is in bad need of Constitutional, Political and Cultural Reform. |

Expected, Mick Mulvaney, had to do a walk back. There is the proof! |

Oh dear. There is something rotten in the state of US:) "Get over it", the official told a reporter. https://www.unian.info/politics/10723620-white-house-official-brashly-admits-quid-pro-quo-over-ukraine-aid-and-then-denies-doing-so.html "Did he (Trump) also mention to me the corruption linked to the Democrats' server? Absolutely. No doubt. But that's also all and that's why we kept the money," Mulvaney said. Then a reporter points out that this is "Quid pro quo" (exactly what Trump is accused of in connection with the investigation into the judiciary). "We do this all the time in foreign policy," Mulvaney replied. "And I have news for you all. Get used to it. There will be political pressure when it comes to foreign policy," he added. "Did he (Trump) also mention to me the corruption linked to the Democrats' server? Absolutely. No doubt. But that's also all and that's why we kept the money," Mulvaney said. Then it was time for the "kovändning" :) Mulvaney's statements during the press conference attracted considerable attention. Both the White House lawyers and sources within the Ministry of Justice distanced themselves from them. A few hours ago, a written statement was issued by Mulvaney in which he wrote that media distorted his statements as part of the "witch hunt" against President Trump. Nevertheless, the press conference was broadcast live and his response can be checked on recordings of the event. In the written statement, Mulvaney emphasizes that the decision to freeze military aid to Ukraine had nothing to do with the Democrats' server. It should have only been about concerns over the widespread corruption in Ukraine and the fact that the US believes that other countries do not adequately support Ukraine. A "kovändning" is a derogatory parable that implies a blurry and transversal shift in opinion or action, which contrasts sharply with previous positions. The parable itself refers to a cow's unmistakable turn and points in the transferred sense to an obvious course or opinion change that indicates instability and lack of consistency. |

Someone posted earlier that Trump is not a good Politician.................good. Definition of Politician: Politician n. A person who smiles to your face while slipping a knife into your back. With Trump, you know exactly where you stand. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

With Trump, you know exactly where you stand. What? Ask Trump's former cabinet members that are getting fired all the time. You will get a very different answer! But in some sense you are right. We all know where Trump stand. A pathological liar with lots of money that only serve people that will give him even more money. Why so many American people believe in him is beyond me... |

Why so many American people believe in him is beyond me... Because they know what they elected, and knew it when they voted for him..........unlike Fauxcahontas, Sputtercus, Bernie the Walking Dead, and Quid Pro Joe(all of whom are saying things that their past recorded statements contradict). We had a saying in the debt collection business.........."Debtor = Liar"...........same goes for Politicians. "The check is in the mail". Happy Early Halloween......... With Trump, you know exactly where you stand. And it's this kind of delusional b.s. that led me away from any GOP support, playing diplomat, etc. ... . Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

Name calling US politicians seems to have become common place nowadays. Also giving them nicknames. Some are really funny though. Like Trump who call Joe Biden "Sleepy Joe". But why not "Creepy Joe"? "Mad Dog" Mattis is another one. Trump claims he coined it. It was not. Anybody surprised? https://www.militarytimes.com/news/pentagon-congress/2019/03/03/trump-claims-he-coined-the-nickname-mad-dog-mattis/ Come to think about it. We nickname politicians here in our country as well:) |

With Trump, you know exactly where you stand. I do give him that... other politicians try to hide their shenanigans, but Trump does them right out in the open, and has since long before he even had inklings of being president. I leave it to others to determine whether it's brazenness or bravery. The latest instance that brings this up, one I am very surprised hasn't been mentioned in this thread (or that it just fell to the bottom of the pile) is that Trump's own golf course is being used to host the 2020 G7. He claims he won't profit from this. I highly doubt it, unless he or any of his organizations don't actually own it nor is he profiting from having his name on it. And this is just the latest of several official state functions where it just happened to be determined that a Trump property was the most ideal location. (How did the federal government function before, I wonder?) |

LOL:) Mulvaney also defended claims when asked what the difference is between this and Trump's accusations that Hunter Biden profited off his father's name. "First of all, there's no profit here. Clearly, there's profit with the Bidens," Mulvaney said, adding: "The Trump family made their money before they went into politics, that's a big difference." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuN7kOW7iwo |

Name calling US politicians seems to have become common place nowadays. Mad Dog is one mistake made by Trump. A good man, an exemplary leader, an intelligent and believable advisor.......whatever the divide that was a mistake to let him get away. Trump's problem with Mattis was that Mattis was rational. |

One Bad Ass Marine no one would want to meet in an ally........RojbaÅŸ. The problem is that Trump "Spur bones" doesn't understand what an ally is! He simply doesn't care because allies doesn't bring in cash enough according to him! |
