At least these two committees are looking at something that is fairly fresh. As opposed to the repeat inquires into Hillary's emails and servers conducted over the last two years looking into what had already been decided was a crime that didn't exist.

Get over it, now the Dems have control of the House, and they have decided it is Trump's turn to be in the barrel.

You know the GOP has lost it when they start fawning over drug addicts as messiahs.

When it rains, it pours.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-inauguration/prosecutors-subpoena-trump-inaugural-committee-for-documents-media-reports-idUSKCN1PU02M
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Lawyers for President Donald Trump’s inaugural committee on Monday received a subpoena for documents from the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office, which is investigating the committee, according to media reports.

The subpoena requests documents related to the committee’s donors and spending, the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times reported.

In December, the Journal reported that federal prosecutors were investigating whether the inaugural committee misspent some of the record $107 million it had raised from donors.

The investigation is examining whether some of the committee’s donors gave money in exchange for policy concessions, influencing administration positions or access to the incoming administration, the Journal reported.

Prosecutors also showed interest in whether any foreigners illegally donated to the committee, the New York Times reported. Federal law prohibits foreign contributions to inaugural funds.

Our current right wing government (capitalists and so called liberals, but conservatives just the same) didn't even want the Royal Commission to start with (trying to protect their just as greedy mates), but they were forced into it, and now the court cases will commence and the government forced to implement all the recommendations of the commission so more than just wrists will be slapped for their wanton greed. This government will be taken care of in May and then Trump will have another ally that won't be kissing his ass.

So not only low I.Q. memes, but now a low I.Q. response that you obviously didn't do your homework on. :-D

I do think sometimes, that this administration is a Broadway musical, as;
1, the chief of staff,
2. the attorney general,
3. the defense secretary,
4. the interior secretary,
5, the budget director,
6. the head of the Environmental Protection Agency,
are all acting.

The "Low IQ Memes" are tailored to level of the readers........................

..........so here's some not fake news from Newsweek.......

Russia Routed Millions to Influence Clinton in Uranium Deal, Informant Tells Congress

Moscow routed millions of dollars to the U.S. expecting the funds would benefit ex-President Bill Clinton’s charitable initiative while his wife, Hillary Clinton, worked to reset relations with Russia, an FBI informant in an Obama administration-era uranium deal stated.
FBI agents and the confidential informant made secret recordings, gathered records and intercepted emails dating back to 2009 that showed that Russian officials had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks. However, the Department of Justice did not bring charges until 2014.

To be Fair and Balanced:

In a statement to The Hill, APCO said its activities involving client work for the Clinton Global Initiative and Tenex, a unit of Rosatom, were “totally separate and unconnected in any way” and that “any assertion otherwise is false and unfounded.”
....yeah, right.

Russia Routed Millions to Influence Clinton in Uranium Deal, Informant Tells Congress

The Russians were wasting their money then. It was Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) that approved the deal and while the State Department one of nine departments on that committee, the Secretary of State herself did not have any input, it sent a representative assistant secretary Jose Fernandez.

Unscientific I admit, but vanity seemed to be the topic tonight.
As I sat in the pub watching a game on one TV and eating, nearly every time I looked at the other TV with the orange one on, he was facing the same direction. I did see his other side 3 times, but the vain side about 40. And a couple of times they did an overhead and he was 45 degrees to the lectern as if to remind himself which side was the vain side.

My Rule - A man who is preoccupied with his face, has none.
Corollary - He is also talking out of the side you can't see.

OBW another table commented that someone had been able to tone his orange down.
Out of the entire pub I think only 2 or 3 persons were watching him, the rest ignoring it. I think the orange one has cried wolf so much that he is now being totally ignored. Maybe Mommy and Daddy didn't read Aesop's to him?

Nancy Pelosi's clap overshadows Donald Trump's attempts at bipartisanship in State of the Union address.

For a President known for his divisive political tactics, there was one comment in his landmark speech that united everyone in the room. Even his rivals were on their feet.

And those are facts and now,

Let's fact-check Trump's State of the Union address.

Yep twisted facts just so he can keep the feed up to his red capped mushrooms that don't know any better and are happy so long as the B.S. keeps flowing to feed them.

Meanwhile,

California's Becerra warns legal challenge if Trump declares national emergency on border wall.

Well that's 1 way to stop Trump driving the national dept even higher than it already is (and it's grown under Trump).

Soooooo...........the Dim Governor of Virginia is being vilified for allegedly wearing 'black face' in a College yearbook photo, and must resign.

Soooooo..........the Dim Lt. Governor of Virginia is accused of sexual assault and calls for his resignation precludes him from replacing the Governor.

Soooooo.........the Dim Attorney General of Virginia is also believe to have worn 'black face' in College and should disqualify himself from succession.

Soooooo........the next successor in line is the Virginia Speaker of the House..................a Republican..................I love it when a plan comes together.
