Although I deeply respect the Late Senator John McCain, and pay homage to his long service to America in many roles. His refusal to accept early release from a prison camp due to his status as an Admiral's son says volumes about his integrity, you have to admit, as did he, he was stubborn. So is Donald Trump. What Trump said regarding McCain's tenure as a prisoner of war was an unthinking statement, the kind we have all seen repeatedly from both sides. It was unseemly and deeply insulting. One thing McCain did that I think was equally personally insulting to Trump was the 'Grandstanding' action on the floor of the Senate during the vote to repeal Obamacare in which the Senator held the deciding vote. His flamboyant thumbs down was tantamount to a middle finger at the President. At least it seemed so to me at the time and apparently also did to The President. Both are/were passionate and often profane personalities who disliked each other and that should be the end of it. Unfortunately we will hear echos of this for many weeks/months/years to come deflecting from the urgent problems that need to be addressed. These endless hearings regarding mythical collusion and sleazy stripper/porn stars and their equally slimy attorneys and liars, cheats, dishonest cops, rubber stamping judges and every other distraction imaginable on BOTH SIDES, are what the real danger is to America. Eye your post implies you respect McCain and Trump equally. Is that true? |

Is possible that America has ended up with a dictator in the White House? The tweet has sparked fresh criticism that Mr Trump is illegally seeking to interfere with the justice system.Dictator on the loose |

Is possible that America has ended up with a dictator in the White House?Hopefully we will be able to always add "would be" to that. At least as of now the swamp seems to be doing its job. https://www.cnn.com/2018/09/04/politics/bob-woodward-donald-trump-book-damaging/index.html President Donald Trump's aides purposely keeping information from him in order to protect the country |

Corey Booker......... When you have no substance.......you whine about procedure. So now we know what his 2020 campaign slogan will be...."It's not fair, sniff, sob"..... The Snowflakes have brought their game indoors, screaming at the ceiling instead of the sky.............same result. Try winning an election instead............oh that's right they're like clues........the Dims and Soros can't even BUY one. Kavanaugh will soon join, and make, SCOTUS ..............Great, Again! Swamp still functions as a filter. The job of a swamp. Senior Administration Official wrote: Given the instability many witnessed, there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment, which would start a complex process for removing the president. But no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis. So we will do what we can to steer the administration in the right direction until — one way or another — it’s over. <ps>Confirmation of Woodward's book. |

Random thoughts..... Heard the best description ever, of Bob Woodward today......'discredited stenographer'..........ROFLMAO! The Kavanaugh hearings would proceed far more rapidly if the Capitol Police didn't have to take the screaming babies outside to change their diapers every five minutes. Those watching the hearings, if listening to Kavanaugh's answers rather than the Senator's questions, are probably learning a great deal about the Constitution and the Federalist Papers. Too bad we don't have IQ standards for members of the Senate Judiciary Committee......stupid questions deserve nebulous answers. "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |
