Should Trump and family be more worried about this, How the I.R.S. Could Punish Trump and His Foundation The New York attorney general sued President Trump and his foundation on Thursday. But his bigger problem might be with the Internal Revenue Service. |

Yes he should be seriously afraid of the IRS. Tax fraud is big, but a POTUS doing it might well make a prosecutor think they should add on a perjury charge for signing the tax return. Since he runs a family business he likely even signed the checks so there is no way to deny it! Might even give Lois Lerner a get out of jail card. Perhaps she was right to give extra examination to right wing nut applications. Of course the IRS being the IRS, if you immediately fess up and pay up they generally are a happy bunch and I'm sure he know that by now. Oh, and no wonder he won't let his tax returns be public. What would an investigative journalist find and how many years would he get? |

I'm pleased that you are financially able to withstand the increase in the cost of living that your President has enforced by his policies. But I am certain that not all US citizens are in that privileged position. |

cause 'cuz, we're gonna think REAL HARD before we bail your asses out again.......fact. I feel sure we would not ask you to. It is said that the USA only joined in because Hitler declared war on the USA, NOT to save the UK or Europe which the USA, then, as now cared little about. So please do not use that old line. It is estimated that without the USA intervention the UK and Russia would have overcome Hitler possibly by 1947-48. Many more would have died of course, and Europe would look a lot different, but I now wish that if you keep using that old old argument, it would have been better for the world as a whole and the UK especially not to have to feel indebted for and action 70 years ago. America has never seen a war on its homeland like the war my parents and relatives lived through. one day you are chatting to your next door neighbour, next day half the street is gone and them along with it. At least glad we paid you back for the equipment and money loaned to us, even if it did take 60 years |

You're definitely slipping. That "fact" has been mentioned several times , with IIRC, some directed at you in reply to falsehoods of yours. It is said that the USA only joined in because Hitler declared war on the USA, NOT to save the UK or Europe which the USA, then, as now cared little about. |

I like what a famous American general quipped: On hearing that three correspondents had been killed near Vicksburg, Sherman is said to have quipped, “Good! Now we shall have news from Hell before breakfast.†:-) |

It is said that the USA only joined in because Hitler declared war on the USA, NOT to save the UK or Europe which the USA, then, as now cared little about. Before Pearl Harbour 80% of Americans wanted to stay out of any conflicts, America had been hard hit by the depression and FDR was just starting to turn things around. Whilst FDR may have wanted to help the UK(he started lend lease) he apparently did not have support in the congress or the nation. It is a matter of fact that the USA did not declare war on Germany until after Hitler declared war on the USA 4 days after Pearl Harbour. From what I have read here by several prominent posters, I strongly believe that then as now, the USA would have preferred to remain isolated from the rest of the world. Your current president seems to support this view, which is fine, each to their own, and whatever happens in the future I just hope that we never have to rely on your nation to "help" us again. The debt would be too great, too poisonous, It would again allow people to say things like. cause 'cuz, we're gonna think REAL HARD before we bail your asses out again.......fact. |
