Roseanne's employer had standards of conduct as do most and she broke them. It's OK she got axed. Get over it.

Unemployment at 3.9%

- Because thousands of Baby Boomers are leaving the jobs market, nothing to do with Trump.
Care to explain your reverse logic?

I'm not so sure that "ignorant" is the right word there. ;-)

Bill Maher, in a comedy piece, said that tRump was part Orangutan.
tRump sued Bill Maher for $5 million, and offered to show his birth certificate.
tRump got laughed out of court, as he so often is.

Almost right. Bill Maher challenged Rump to prove he wasn't the spawn of an orangutan and offered him $5 million to give to charity if he could prove he wasn't.
Rump sued. Rump dropped the lawsuit, because he couldn't figure out how to give to charity!

and now you know Rump brain, no charity even when others give you the money for it.

The age of the workforce population, from where the unemployment numbers come from, is from 18 to 65. There are many more baby boomers than there was of previous generations, thanks to world wars etc.

So in comparison to previous years the workforce is effectively getting smaller.
Therefore if the number employed stays the same the number of unemployed must decline.

Do you have a link to share with a breakdown of how many leaving vs joining from the unemployed masses of the last administration?

Where have you been? That is very old news, maybe in your alternate universe that is not so.

You don't need links to understand that, just look at the US demographics for population.

And a correction. It was not under the last administration that there was an increase in the unemployed, that happened because of the policies of the previous GOP President.

From 'another poster's' link...

"Labor participation began declining after a high of 67.3% in mid-2000. It dropped to 66.4% in January 2007, just as the economic collapse began, and kept going. Now the country hovers at just below 63% as people have left the workforce.

Some of that is large college enrollment among Millennials, while another portion has been women leaving the workplace and baby boomer retirements (for those who don't have to keep working part-time to make ends meet even after they have reached retirement age). Whatever the reasons, we seem to have hit a new stable lower number than was the case in the previous 30 years."

So we see these boomer leaving are only a portion of the whole as usual instead of the entire reason as you intimated.

Lets consider some simplified numbers.
From 1930 till 1945 the birth rate was about 20 births per 1000 members of the population.
After that from 1946 till 1960 the birth rate was over 25 births per 1000 members of the population.

So for ever 20 people that reached retirement before 2010, there are now 25 reaching retirement age and this will continue until 2025. After that it will ramp down for the next ten years.

The present birthrate/1000 population is under 15, although the population is larger.

Had to retrieve this post from the usual diversion..........
By the Way............

https://secure.marketwatch.com/story/jobs-report-is-phenomenal-analysts-say-2018-06-01
."Jobs report is ‘phenomenal,’ analysts say "
• “The economy and labor market appear to be firing on all cylinders, with all sectors showing strength. The big difference between now and a year ago, however, is that decent gains in manufacturing and mining are complementing the steady growth in service sector employment.” — Paul Ashworth, chief U.S. economist, Capital Economics.

• “The big surprise here is average hourly earnings, which managed an above-trend increase despite facing two adverse calendar effects; May had an extra working day compared to normal, and the survey was conducted very early in the month. This suggests that the underlying data were very strong, though one month’s numbers don’t prove anything definitively.” — Ian Shepherdson, chief economist, Pantheon Macroeconomics.

• Diane Swonk, the chief economist at Grant Thornton, said the jobs numbers were good but participation was “still stubborn.” Oxford Economics chief U.S. economist Greg Daco similarly called a slip in the labor force participation rate “disappointing.”

Jobs numbers good but participation still stubborn and on decline. We should be moving in other direction.-demographics (retriees) only part of problem. Young women teens appear to have moved into labor force; others left or were unchanged.
— Diane Swonk (@DianeSwonk) June 1, 2018

So the major problem is those not willing to participate in the labor force...........could the reason be the last administration made it SO VERY EASY to stay home, draw welfare, get free healthcare because they are unemployed (Medicaid), and on welfare, and generally not contribute to the benefit of society and their selves?

The cycle perpetuated by Liberal policy for 4 Generations.

Here's a student at Stanford that has finally woken from 'The Liberal Coma' and is rejecting the 'Liberal Plantation'.....

As we know he thinks the person working 3 jobs and on welfare is sitting back just enjoying life gaining weight in an easy chair with 1000 cable channels on.

You're right, alternate universe.

Even CNBC has to admit the truth...........
https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2018/06/01/the-us-economy-suddenly-looks-like-its-unstoppable.html
The US economy suddenly looks like it's unstoppable

Friday's economic data provided evidence the U.S. economy is heading into the second half of 2018 with strong momentum.

Nonfarm payrolls beat expectations while manufacturing and construction indexes both showed accelerated growth.

Economists are slowly ratcheting up expectations for growth through the end of the year, with widely followed measures putting the second quarter at between 3.6 percent and 4.8 percent.
Could it be(oh Liberal horror of horrors!), that Trump Capitalism actually DOES work?

Gonna be a great deal more 'red' on the map after November, and the next Congress might actually get something CONSTRUCTIVE done.............we can only hope.
