The biggest Radon-risk area within any building is any below ground level "room". Indeed in some parts of the UK it is a requirement that cellars, even "half-cellars" and rooms built into slopes, are tanked against Radon infiltration and have to have "correct ventilation" installed. My brother had to consider this when he did a minor alteration to his house on the edge of Exmoor.

My house has a basement I use like the rest of the house, so I think if it has radon levels above what is considered healthy, I probably should do something about it. I also have CO detectors, and they show Zero, so that is good.

Once I went skiing in Badgastein, Austria, where there were abandoned uranium mines. A brochure in the hotel offered the opportunity to enter the mine tunnels to take a radon bath, which was considered healthy.

A radon bath? Ha, lovely. That reminds me of the resort an hour or so north of me, called French Lick and West Baden Springs. They have an underground spring that is rich in sulphur and is supposed to be good for you. It is affectionately called Pluto water.

My home sits above the ground on the earthquake resistant foundation that I paid for years ago, mine is the only place in the park that is even close to being prepared, the rest are on spindly jack stands.

I have a CO detector plugged in to an electrical outlet and 2 smoke detectors, neither smoke detector has ever gone off if someones ears are smoking. But no radon detector.

Australian thieves left with nasty taste after accidentally siphoning sewage tank instead of petrol.

Potentially not. Trying to syphon from an RV is one thing. The waste is dumped by gravity so just opening the tank will result in a nice surprise, plus there is a gate valve to contend with. But A BUS is possible. On a bus the waste is typically removed with a vacuum. So it's possible.

Considering what the additives are to gasoline today, that might have been preferable.

McDonald's is remodeling it's restaurants around here, and I think they should win an award for ugliest new design. They look awful. This one I just took a picture of over here near my house, was remodeled last year. It looks unfinished and terribly bland. I don't get it.

Looks like a concrete warehouse type building with some McD stuff slapped on with some door and window openings.

Probably so it matches the highly formulated industrial gloop they sell inside.

I'd rather go Jack in the Box, McD's is 13 miles, Jacks is 2.5 miles and has better food.

Cars are always lined up there, and what you said reminds me of the video for Pink Floyd's The Wall, where the children are marching off the precipice into a meat grinder.
