BTW: SCOTUS 101... There are two females on The Court. Gorsuch is 50 years old.The ruling on free speech being allowed exceptions is from nine old men. Gorsuch wasn't a gleam in his Dad's eye when it was published. Remember your stare decisis. BTW looks like the teams are going back to playing, if and only if orange stops with the twits.

I'm not going to register, so cannot see the actual questions and the replies. But would those who said they were less likely to watch the NFL, have been likely to watch in the first place. Need to see some evidence to say they watch NFL sometimes on a scale from, 'very occasionally to fairly frequently'. Think that might change the numbers? And you can't compare apples to apples because the team matchups and the standings are different year to year. Could it be that 45 got it right, that the games are now boring and that's why some have stopped watching. Added to the problem that on average the top TV channels have lost 8% of their audiences from 2014 to 2016 for all programs. Indy 500 down from 6.0 million in 2014 to 5.5 million in 2016. Nascar down 12% for first half of 2017 season compared to same period 2016. TV ratings are down overall and sports even more so Worldwide. ID: 1894230 · |

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has delivered a scathing warning to any players who consider taking a knee during the national anthem. Now this could lead to breaches of contracts and that hypocrite Jones having no team at all and in big dept after he himself knelt only a week ago with them. It sure looks like a nation being divided even further by the Trump effect. There will be losers here and I doubt that it will be the players, but some teams look to be on the brink of oblivion if this goes ahead (not that I care as it is the most boring game that I've ever seen). Are these NFL protests about; 1, Patriotism, 2, Free Speech, 3, Race. You will get differing results based on those three subjects. As the original protest by Colin Kaepernick was about Race, then I would say the other two subjects are diversions and should be ignored. ID: 1894256 · |
