You told us that you weren't going to relatives as you only had $12.50 left.

Like Nick, the mugs I meant were the ones with more money than sense.

So I'm supposed to stick to that?
I got some gas yesterday(3.572 @ $2.799), and I'll get some today(or soon), a friend needs Me to drive them to town again, since this happens at random, I can't exactly predict when I'll get some more gas, and My relatives have offered up some help too, though only My friend doesn't know My money situation, which is still at the same as last time, plus I have enough for the rent, which still has not passed thru the bank yet, while everything else has. It's not like My relatives live 3 miles from Me one way, it's 100 miles. And right now I hate coughing...

Message 1907287 - Posted: 15 Dec 2017, 20:43:29 UTC - in response to Message 1906860.

Turns out this home is in Montclair CA, in San Bernardino Co, just across the border from Pomona CA, which is in Los Angeles County, under existing law I could have My property taxes transferred there, I don't know how that is started of course.

Existing Taxes/Fees there are steep at $1,420.73 a year, $80.30 is much better or 17.69277708592777 smaller according to the Calculator, and yes the home is still unsold @ 213 days on the Market. I tried having some of the pics side by side, but it seems that is not possible anymore. :(

I found a nice place, it has a low HOA fee of $55 a month, it's 1200sqft, it's move in ready, though I'd have to get 2 or 3 throw rugs($250-$300), I know this probably won't be around for long, but there will be a place in the area, so I'm not worried. And except for the fences on 2 sides that need replacing or paint if the other owners don't want a white plastic fence, and the car port needing to be a garage, it's nearly perfect, and yes the land goes with the home. This is in Pomona CA, not far from My relatives, and the home is on a permanent foundation too.
$214,900.00, My relatives house went for $380,000.00 by comparison, and was not quite so nice.

If Vic want's to buy shoddy stuff or look at houses worth 200k + or buy a TV most of us don't even use now a days..Let him Dream.
That is all it is.

The last boards I bought, I was led to believe they were compatible with My TV. Turns out the seller sold Me a BN94-05038C, which is only useful with a 46 inch Samsung TV(UN46D6000SFXZA UN46D6000SFXZC), they look identical on the surface, and are the same size, the parts were not bad, they were just not compatible with MY TV.................................................

The boards I'm watching, well I know of board numbers that are compatible, they are:

BN94-05038G
BN94-04358G
BN94-04358P

https://www.samsungparts.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=main&txtModelNo=un55d6050tfxza&drpModelCode=&parttype=All

The ones I'm watching are supposed to be one of the 3 listed here, Samsung says those 3 are the only ones compatible with My Samsung UN55D6050TFXZA 55 inch TV...

Seriously?

They don't exist.

And the TV with stand is already heavy enough.

Well the BN94-05038G on Amazon disappeared, so now it's the 2 compatible main boards on ebay(a BN94-05038G, and a BN94-04358P), and at Samsung, though I'd rather save the ones at Samsung as a last resort, and who knows?

More might show up. I'd rather get the 5038, than the 4358, since I'm not crazy about the way the main chip looks on that 4358 there.

Sure go ahead, I don't care what you do.

And for the nay sayers, I don't care about your opinions, don't like what I do?

Tough, what are ya gonna do about it?

I'll tell ya, NOTHING... Since there is nothing you can do.

Given it is some weeks before you will be able to afford a new main board for that broken TV there is a fair chance that many will have come and gone between now and then, so why not let the stress of following them rest until you actually have the money - you know more of less what it's going to cost, and false hopes of a "cheap" one won't do you any good. I seem to recall that the last one was "going to be the cure", and it was the wrong one, then there was the internal IR (remote) lead, and wasn't there a PSU some time ago.... That TV has been a real money pit, and there is no guarantee that the mother board will be the cure, even if you get the right one from Samsung... However I do understand your desire to get the thing working, but just now you don't have either the money, or the diagnostic skills to do so.

I think I've spent less than $99 so far, not much of a pit, 2 of 3 parts are right, and good too. The 2 main boards for the 46" TV are ok, I think the reason a fair number of sites think they're interchangeable, is cause they look alike, but for some reason, a main board for a 46" tv won't work in a 55", doesn't make sense to Me, but then I'm missing some knowledge as to the why, shopjimmy.com lists all sorts of alternates, most I suspect would do no better than what I have now, asking Samsung might get a, "that's a trade secret" response out of them, so I just have to wait.
