G'day everyone, as we here in the highlands await the imminent arrival of more rain.

Hi Byron, I'm just taking a short break here after sterilising 72x750ml beer bottles before returning to my brewroom to fill them with the holy amber liquid. I hope that you have a great day as well.

Anyhow, I better finish my coffee break and get back to it before Beer O'clock gets here.

Cheers.

It's beer-o-clock here in New Hampshire.
Things have been quite hectic lately, and I am more than ready for a few cold beers.

G'morning everyone, from another cold, windy and damp day in the highlands down under (we've more than made up for the last 3 dry months here).

Hectic days seem to be the flavour of the month here Steve, but I hope that you enjoyed those beers.

I've got a few more things to do here over the remaining 3.5hrs before today's Beer O'clock arrives so I better finish this coffee and get to it.

Cheers.

and 2 days.

G'morning everyone, from a sort of sunny start in the highlands.

Well Grant I'd be thirsty after the 0.8 of a mile (forget the rest), which is a bit further than the distance between the top and bottom pubs here. ;-)

I finally caught up with the rain delayed mowing here yesterday and the washing machine is doing its job this morning so I'll be prepared for the rain that will return again tonight or tomorrow morning (we've already received more of the wet stuff than is usual for this month).

Anyhow Beer O'clock is just 4hrs away now.

Cheers.

It's lunchtime here Betreger (if I only had the energy and a working spine to make it), but a liquid lunch break will do instead. ;-)

Yes, the aroma of a good beer mixed with the smell of freshly cut grass is sort of relaxing Grant, after going through the pain to get it done (it's just bad luck that the tank ran out of fuel 4 strips short of finishing the back lane).

I also wish that I could enjoy the weekend, but I've been cleaning out the mess in the house, that #1 daughter, her cats and a couple of ferals left behind, for the last 4 days and I've got many more days not to look forward too. :-(

Anyhow, time for a refill. :-D

Cheers.

How many times my kids would bring home 1 or 2 and the old words "oh I'll take care of them" Right!
and who takes care of them? LOL

I love the smell of freshly cut hay myself, bailed enough of it also.

First bottle went down pretty good I just might try another.
Cheers everybody

Wish I was joining you, Grant, but grapefruit juice is all I have here. Cheers, anyway! :~)

All I have in the house is a little Captain Morgan, Southern Comfort (high octane I call it) and Sprite.
Could go to the store and buy some "Southern Comfort" egg nog so I could spike it with some higher octane Southern Comfort.

I used to love drinking Southern Comfort straight with a couple of mouth fulls of beer for a chaser. 1 bottle of Comfort + 2 cans of Vic bitter = A good night.

G'day everyone, from a day that's going backwards here in the highlands.

I'm just taking a short break between 1 stage and the next in the beer bottling process that's going on here today, but I better not linger as Beer O'clock can't happen until the bottling is finished. ;-)

Cheers.
