I saw this being done on a tv show years ago. Using a probe and listing to it with microphone. Then take your best best guess as to the condition of what the probe is resting against.

IIRC, you record the way a machine sounds when it is in good shape, then periodically record ed it again and and compare the changes if any.

Thankfully I have no grass to cut, just rocks here, and the park has some roundup on order for the weeds, I just had to pick up 2 pieces of paper outside.

Well, after getting up to pee, I felt good enough to do the lawn. Problem: 2nd lap around the front, it ran out of gas, so I had to break in the gas can I bought along with the new riding mower (did I ever tell you how much I hate the sheer repetitive drudgery of pushing a mower back and forth in the heat and bugs?). Glad I only half-filled the can -- even 4 gallons is heavy. Just realized I left the can with some gas still in it in the back of the car; should go out and remove it.

Addendum: ick. Last night, I put out the garbage on the curb, just an unprotected plastic trash bag, and some critter got into it.

Just watched the 1st episode of Iron Chef Gauntlet (DVR recorded all of them yesterday). I think it's a little less silly than Next Iron Chef used to be.

No Leather-clad, Pointy-breasted, Buffont-wearing,
Pillow-smothering, Two-faced Sisters were harmed
during the production of this motion picture.

Last night, I put out the garbage on the curb, just an unprotected plastic trash bag, and some critter got into it.

What you don't have rules and gull proof sacks!!



Can't do that here you might well get a fine!!

Our trash cans get rifled by homeless looking for recyclables.
