Went to town early this morning at day break, a perfect time to hit the streets, cool,no cars and no one in the stores but the stockers.

Current temp 99F, feels like 99F, today's high temp 100F, Thursday 105F, the rest of the week is predicted to vary from 105F to 109F...

Rain is now at .31". The reading will reset at midnight. Temperature was down to 66 and is now back up to 69.

After it stopped raining this morning, the rain reading was .35". Assuming it reset at midnight, that was a total of .66". What has been coming out of Minnesota today has been fizzling out as it approaches.

My mistake, daily rain is .33", making the total for last night's storm .64". Still nearly 2/3 of an inch... which isn't much here, but in towns to the north, floods that were just starting to recede went up again to even higher record levels after last week.

Currently 85F, which means my A/C actually turns off once in a while. I don't think it did all afternoon yesterday.
