Standard office hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday

Do countries that have nap time incorporate that as their lunch period, or is that separate?

Never heard of nap time?

A nap is very much needed when DST set in.
Our schools are filled with pupils that takes one the first hour.

Another 3 weeks and we turn ours back down here. ;-)

Cheers.

Several years ago the U.S. government expanded DST, and I don't like it, mainly because now the clocks don't change again until after Halloween, and that means the trick-or-treaters have to wait longer for it to get dark.

Wait. What?

In my neighborhood we prefer that the trick-or-treaters go out when it's light out. Safer that way.

But as a former trick-or-treater, I liked it to be dark and spooky outside. Parents should of course always accompany their little goblins, anyway.

Agreed, We had fun, of course back then kids could go about and not have to have a parent hover nearby, I was on My best behavior, though some older kids weren't.

That might have been their best behavior. Sad to say.

Now when the neighborhood association makes you put up a PG-13 sign for your display ...
