Kekkaishi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yellow Tanabe. The series is about Yoshimori Sumimura and Tokine Yukimura, heirs to rival families of kekkai users, who must defend their school from the spirits drawn to the sacred land upon which it is built. I’m in to chapter 23 so far. |

Harry Harrison has a old series. Bill the Galactic Hero. Has a lot of fun but the satire is a bit thick and heavy at times. About to the level of being brained by a baseball bat. But I like the oddball technology and situations poor Bill finds himself in. |

I had no idea Jack London had a Huge Body of Work. Read Short Story 'Brown Wolf' and Weeped like a mo fo. Original Master and 2nd Masters(Man and Wife) let Dog Make Decision of Who He wants to Live with. Dog chose Original and Back to The Klondike. LONDONs Ability to Describe Emotions and Feelings of a Dog are Amazing. Another Short Story 'bout Boxing. Masterful. Thank GOodNess fO Gutenberg. Ain't Notin' like Free Readings. Cannot Imagine LONDONs Output if He Did Not die So Young. One of His Stories I read when Very Young had a Description of a Man Examining His Hands Right Before he thought he was gunna Die from Being a Wolf Pack Meal. He lived, and his description of Hands has Stuck with me Always. I've always thought if I examine my Hands in same way - My End would be Near. Yep May we All have a METAMORPHOSIS. REASON. GOoD JUDGEMENT and LOVE and ORDER!!!!! |

Thank GOodNess fO Gutenberg. Ain't Notin' like Free Readings. Indeed so, that's an important freedom. And an important BIG part of our culture! Don't let the likes of Amazon, Hollywood, Disney, Google, or any others steal that away with their grotesque 'DRM' / 'TC' greedy grab... Enjoy! I just came across a book in my library that I hadn't read before called the "Jade Demons Quartet" by Robert E. Vardeman. Either my missus bought it before she passed away or it's 1 of the few that my eldest daughter had bought. Cheers. |

To find out what the great controversy is/was, I decided to read Catcher in the Rye, by J.D. Salinger. I enjoyed it. I think it's not as shocking today as it would have been when it was written. After that, I read Stephen King's The Institute. I enjoyed both books. Now I'm reading Florida Man, by Tom Cooper. You'd expect this one to be funny, but so far it's not. I'm only a few chapters in. ~Sue~ |

I'll have to read, "To Sail Beyond the Sunset", plus others, Wiggo. Have only read the one. I believe his "Stranger" story may have been featured in one of the late John W. Campbell's "Analog" paperbacks. He, and the late Ben Bova hosted many a good SCI-FI story, and I enjoyed them all. Perhaps, you did, as well. Many were realistically futuristic, in retrospect. |

"Dante", by Alessandro Barbero. A biography of Dante in which you learn that Dante was not only a poet but also a soldier in the wars between the Tuscan Cities. In the Battle of Campaldino of Florence against Arezzo he was a front line horseman. Tullio |
