If the world would reassure NK/Kim not to worry about being taken over or losing anything and they live as they do but play friendly with the rest of the world is easy to say. Well kinda... Har

Methinks the Ukraine, Libya results have Kim thinking that does not work. He believes only nukes can ensure national sovereignty .

If the fate of any other nation would point Kim in that direction, I would say it was Iraq's.

"No one likes us
I don't know why
We may not be perfect
But heaven knows we try
But all around
Even our old friends put us down
Let's drop the big one
And see what happens

We give them money
But are they grateful
No, they're spiteful
And they're hateful
They don't respect us
So let's surprise them
We'll drop the big one
And pulverize them

Asia's crowded
And Europe's too old
Africa's far too hot
And Canada's too cold
And South America stole our name
Let's drop the big one
There'll be no one left to blame us

We'll save Australia
Don't want to hurt no kangaroo
We'll build an all American amusement park there
They've got surfing, too

Boom goes London
And boom Paris
More room for you
And more room for me
And every city the whole world round
Will just be another All American town
Oh, how peaceful it'll be
We'll set everybody free
You'll have Japanese kimonos, baby
There'll be Italian shoes for me
They all hate us anyhow
So let's drop the big one now
Let's drop the big one now"

Nobody wants to face the obvious fact that even though it is likely that there will be large numbers of casualties when some action is taken against NK the longer we wait the worse things will be for everyone.

That too is true.

That is recent, a bit older how many treaties did the USA break with the Native People's? All of them?
And here we had a poster claiming it is Kim that can't be trusted. No it is the USA that can't be trusted! They have broken more treaties than they have kept.

Shrub's they tried to kill my daddy has come home to roost and it is laying hydrogen eggs.

So NK/Kim's fear is real and justified and will never sign a treaty. So much for that idea. Har!

Of course he will sign a treaty. Just isn't going to sign one where the USA gets to act like a hegemonous bully and proselytize how to run Korean affairs. Get over it, the USA lost just like Nam.

What you describe is not a peace treaty so I am not sure what your point is.

And why do I need to get over Vietnam? What crap are you trying to put on me now... Har!

We lost what? South Korea is a thriving prosperous nation thanks to support from the USA and the rest of the free world. Gary, I suggest that you go live in North Korea for a while and then tell us how bad the USA is.

The difference between North and South Korea is quite visible in this photo from NASA:

Why many people cannot understand or accept the above. Is a question for the ages.

So solly, ROK admires DPRK, wants to to join with them. Same as Nam. We lost.

You see we made the same swamp as DC in Seoul, we drew an artificial line, like the UK has all over the world, and they want both gone and Kim doesn't have a swamp. We lost.

Korea is for Korean's not the USA, China or Russia. The USA isn't the world's police force and it is past time to pack up and go home!

We tried that for the last eight years, and what is the result, the Middle East erupted in flames. It is a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

Just did a quick search on "World night light map" and the NASA ones were the first that came up. I remember seeing the one you posted, much more telling.

Correct.
Absolutely.
It is time for the Enslaved People of The North to join The South for their Freedom.

Unless one believes that the North Korean People do not deserve Freedom.

The North Korean people deserve exactly what they wish. Not for Clyde to tell them.
