Yes, you've been told correctly by the media. The media is filled with college graduate journalists, so they are smart. We need to finally do away with the electoral college so the large smart states can over power the ignorant small states. If you can be described as any of these then theoretically you are a criminal, and can be charged, which of course you knew, considering your claims.

And in the US if you were charged with being one of the above and imprisoned then you would lose your vote. So yes these people, self confessed criminals should not have the vote.
