And we have a winner! First used in Antwerp Flower Auction to remove both thorns and foliage from the bottom third of an entire bunch of Flowers at one time. Adapted from commercial Fowl pluckers in US processing plants.

That was quick! Yes is is a tool for chipping and cutting ice some times called an Ice Spud.
More commonly called an ice chisel.
