How about we just donate enough of our winnings to seti(@home) to allow them to do all the
computing necessary? Or would it bother you if you didn't need to help crunch anymore?

I would think that for SETI's ongoing efforts, it would need continual funds over a long period of time. It's been almost 20 years and we know we've only scratched the surface.

IOW - I don't think there's a lottery big enough to give to SETI that would fund it completely without need for additional resources over time.

$250,000.00 would, I'd hope be enough for replacing Seti's servers, plus upgrading the hdd's to industrial SSD's to save Seti money on electricity.

From a Nigerian prince?

Maybe:)
Michael Trolin thought he was an ordinary suburban kid in Stockholm.
He was not.
His dad is a king in Nigeria.
Michael Trolin learned that he is in fact a Nigerian prince, the son of Alhaji Iahaya Kwande Shagaya Qwalgurum II, King of the province of Kwande.
